What does all the lingo and statuses mean when ordering a C8 Corvette?

But in any case, it sounds as if every member of what they used to call "The Big Three" has its own distinct processes, procedures, and protocols. Thanks again....

Nice job, thanks for the information. Good presentation!!! I hope your channel grows. I went to my local small Chevy Dealership in central PA, in late July 2021. They may get 1 to 4 Corvette allocations per year. I specked a 2022 C8 2LT coupe, Red Mist, Z51, Front Lift, Battery Protection and Mag Ride. Placed a $5,000 deposit down. I was told they would sell the car at MSRP. Hopefully I will be hearing from them about my status level. They seem confident they will get at least one allocation. I was told they had four other individuals interested in purchasing a C8 and the first person to place a deposit with them would be in line for their first allocation.
