Argentina just elected Javier Milei to be their next president, but what does that mean for BRICS? I talk about the future of Argentina and the future of BRICS. Will they join? Probably not....
What do you think? Leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts on the new President and BRICS.

His popularity will drop after he misses the boat. But he will spin something else and start a “Blame Game” when his economy doesn’t do as well as others. It is like car racing, yes, cars are all moving, but when others are moving much faster, then when you look at them to the side, you seem to be falling behind. Argentina will be in this situation.

This is what i heard. How it works was, every brics country got invitations to invite new members. Argentina is brazil's biggest trading partner in the region, Brazil invited Argentina, China is only there to support Brazil's decision. 🫠🫠🫠 India invited saudi and uae, Russia invited Iran, south Africa invited egypt, China invited ethiopia, brazil invited argentina.....
@therealdeal2163
@therealdeal2163 6 месяцев назад
What is funny is milei wants to break off relations with both China and Brazil calling them commie countries , China and Brazil make up a third of Argentinas economy , so in effect he wants to reduce Argentinas economy by a third ! That is going to work out well for him ....especially when in some agricultural regions they rely on china buying 90% of their goods to survive ....
@eish3291
@eish3291 7 месяцев назад
Most of these political candidates find that talk is easy, but once in office they find that their knowledge of economics is either limited or non existent. This guy Milei is looking at the past instead of looking at the future which is BRICS+. If Argentina decides to skip the BRICS it won't affect the path of the current members because Argentina was actually not seen by the other 4 members as having met the criteria to be eligible to join anyway.

To be honest, I think the impact is limited. First, his party does not have a majority in Congress, so he has limited room to do whatever he wants. Secondly, the trade between China and Argentina is complementary. China supplies consumer goods and industrial supplies to Argentina, and Argentina supplies agricultural products to China. Finally, his desire to cancel the Argentine central bank's full use of U.S. dollars in Argentina is impossible to achieve because the United States has neither the will nor the funds to bear the resulting losses for Argentina. So I think he will be like Jair Bolsonaro, the former president of Brazil. Although he wants to be close to the United States and stay away from the BRICS organization, reality will make him understand that ideals are full and reality is very skinny.

Hey bro another great video. I will try and explain this dollar a bit since I been to Buenos Aires twice and have a lot of Argentinian friends. For the last 15-20 yrs, there has been a slow movement already in using non peso money for transactions including the dollar and euro. When I visited 10yrs ago, I was told by my hosts to not exchange money and simply pay with dollar. And this was for everything, from food to cloths I was buying. And, it wasn't just US visitors but locals themselves as well. So I actually think there are a lot of dollars floating around in that country already. And, ppl there save in dollars and not the local pesos.
@eish3291
@eish3291 7 месяцев назад
Yes but Argentina cannot print dollars and will have to have to arrange for a currency swop in order to have enough liquidity if all their products in the supermarkets and shops are priced in dollars. And when the US federal reserve raises rates like now ,then everyone with loans will simply have to pay higher rates.In other words monetary policy of Argentina is determined in Washington.
@3wishstudios504
@3wishstudios504 6 месяцев назад
I ´ve lived here in Argentina for more than 12 years now, and while landlords would of course prefer you pay rent in US dollars, I ´ve never seen any local use it for everyday things. Honestly, the very idea seems crazy to me. Businesses will probably use the official rate which means that the person using dollars is on the losing end. Better to use pesos and extend your buying power.

@3:04 As an American I used to be against gun ownership, but having since moved to Brazil and living here for the past 10 years I have changed my opinion about this, in an ideal world I would still be against gun ownership, but living in a place were corruption and violence is rampant and the laws seem to protect the criminals more than the law abiding citizens it may be your best option at having a chance against armed thugs. I remember during around 2017 when the murder rate peaked at over 62 thousand that year, that was over 4 times the number of people killed in war torn Syria during the same period, that's nutz.

I don't know a lot about the history of Argentine in recent decades but I'm just curious why they choose this president. I see his "Afuera" clip and I see that this gesture is wildly popular among a lot of people, mostly from Argentine. Perhaps it's because I was raised in a socialist country, I don't understand how people can applaud for the abolishment of so many ministries, including labor, education, public health, etc. How is this not worrisome?!!! Not to mention privatizing the country's oil companies, and the "shock therapy" of the country's economy... I really want to know what the people there have been through in order to endorse these ideas. Oh and I don't believe that they will join the BRICS because I guess from their perspective, US is the "democratic" country. And I get the feeling that ideology is important to them. I don't think the BRICS will be affected but Brazil definitely will be. They just got themselves a very hostile neighbour.

There are many vloggers doing videos on the Muslim societies in China. Go to see the real on-site videos instead of American desktop "reports".
