One of the biggest challenges for a Solutions Architect, cloud or otherwise, is the ability to articulate difficult concepts for the layperson. You do this very well :) I've been a solutions architect for over 10 years and an AWS Solutions Architect (Professional) for 5 years and it's one of the abilities I'm most thankful for. Though I'm an AWS Solutions Architect, I've spent most of my career as a Microsoft Developer and Solutions Architect so I plan to extend my certification base into Microsoft Cloud computing as well. I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching more videos.
Hey Myra thanks for the video Sis....can you help me with a success path or you can say the certification path for a could solutions architect...Thanks again Sis
Thanks Raashid for watching! You can explore all the exams at the Microsoft certification website. Let me know what you are interested in and I will point out some specific exams that you can take to help your path. :)
@@myrama1554 Thanks for replying back Sis...well TBH l have kinda 3 paths in mind let's say...1st is Cloud Solutions Architect....2nd is Azure Data Scientist and 3rd is Azure Security....so my background is I have my Bachelor's in Computer Science and currently in my second year of Masters In Computer Science so which one will be more benefitting for me....:)
Awesome Myra. This helps a lot. I have 1 question, Is Cloud Solution Architect not tied to accounts? How is it different from Account Technology Strategist?
Account Technology Strategist is looking after all technology across the board, that would include Dynamics platform, M365, modern workspace etc. CSAs are assigned to accounts to provide advice particularly for their cloud architecture (Azure). Hope that helps.
Hi, thanks for the vid, curious. What if you wanted to do both? Like Apps & Infra and also IoT/ML? I feel that there is really no clear distinction moving forward. :)
Thanks Kevin. Yes you are right. Moving forward, there are more and more skills requirements on both sides, even IoT, Security, AI, ML etc. Things are evolving rapidly in the IT industry, so does our skills set. The only way we can do well is to keep learning.
Thank you so so much Myra! you shared the reality in your video content! guided me in right direction.. Thanks a lot...! :) could you please share some more information on how to be a azure solutions architect!!?
Hi Myra, I have an interview with Microsoft for a CSA role. Could you give me an idea on what the first stage interview is about? What sort of questions are asked please?
I am 40 years old. I have 18 years experience of development in game industry. Now, I am a candidate of solution architect of AWS. May I success to pass the interview?
I’m a system admin using 365 and azure cloud and want to work for Microsoft. What would be the best steps and what position would be best for me to try and apply to at Microsoft ?
This was really helpful, especially the differentiation between the App/Infra Cloud Solutions Architect & the AI/Data Cloud Solutions Architect. Always saw both roles on their job boards but never understood which one would be the best fit. Regarding doing Certs & talking @ Local, meetups, i feel that is a very practical advice. Would give it a shot. Thanks Myra.
Hi Minaya, Azure Fundamentals will be good for your to understand Azure in general. It's a good starting point. To become a CSA, you might want to challenge yourself on level 300 or higher technical development.
