Mike got invited recently to check out the new GMA T.33, with the legendary Gordon Murray giving him a full walkaround of his latest V12 creation. With the Cosworth engine revving to 11,100rpm, Mike decided to show Gordon the 2.0-litre, high-revving V10 that is soon to go into his MkII MX-5, to see what the F1 designer thought the special little engine.

Gordon Murray is a true blessing to the automotive world. His philosophy is not only aligned to car enthusiasts, but more imporantly GMA's single-minded, no compromise focus means that philosophy actually arrives in the world unfettered.

It's a tragedy that even companies like GMA are saying that this will be the last of the naturally aspirated V12's. I did a Lamborghini Factory tour in Italy a couple of weeks ago and it was heart-breaking to hear that Lamborghini's mighty NA V12 will also be ending with the Aventador production run. They won't say what it's going to be replaced with, but you could see the hurt in the eyes of the workers there.

I don't have 1.8 million to spend on a car so I don't particularly care. I think he wanted to design a car with classic 60s proportions, and a middle seat car just doesn't allow that.

This has to be the most beautiful car I've seen in years! It looks like something from the 60th, when legends were designed to be clearly recognizable for generations ahead. And of course something like this has to be stick shifted!

I am following Gordon from the F1, his knowledge and Philosophy about cars and their tech is EPIC, He is the only guy who is capable of keeping his philosophy of design alive. He is the GEM of Automotive Industry From the FANBOY and the F1 to the T-50 he has done an amazing job specially with Cossworth, even they have come a long way to come up with that V12 revving up to 12,000 rpm. Its like the purest soul of Automotive engineering. A great Applause to GMA team from all the purist in INDIA, I know that GMA wont come to India. But i hope i can meet him once before he's gone.. Love you Gordon

I never really liked the McLaren F1 but the T50 and T33 are brilliant. Gordon Murray is a genius. Glad he left McLaren.

With the upmost respect buddy - The T50 and 33 have the same design language as the McLaren F1… evolution design process. Gordon left McLaren almost 20 years ago 🙌🏼

I really love simplicity in design. As a car enthusiast myself it's terrifying to see manufacturers copy each other and add these ridiculous.... Appendages. The simplicity reminds me of nature
