Increase child support!!

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God! Including you!! The Gospel is for sinners to come into right relationship with God. There are saved single mothers, who have repented from having sex outside of marriage and now live unto the Lord. God has not forsaken us and loves us! Single mothers need Jesus as much as any other sinner does! There are no perfect/ sinless christians.

@@Shana_Ann8510 Show me where I said otherwise. I'll wait. The problem is the sin of fornication/having kids outside of wedlock has been mainstreamed and normalized in in Christian circles, to the point where not even Christians are shocked by it anymore. THAT is the problem.

I fail to see the distinction between the quote and your correction. It seems to me judgment is a lot of trouble, and a word more would be responsive to in a society where one is not suppose to "judge". What problem does God have with single mothers, since He is a husband to the widow and a father to the fatherless? Do you really expect unbelievers to act holy while still in their unbelief? "Is the arm of the Lord too short to save?" Have you never read Romans 1? The first problem is the failure to glorify God and give thanks to Him. Every other sin flows from that.

" You must have missed the part of the Bible where choosing to have sex (and, as a consequence, children) outside of marriage is a SIN. That's what "problem" God has with it. "Do you really expect unbelievers to act holy while still in their unbelief?" Holy? No. Basic morality? Sure. "Is the arm of the Lord too short to save?" Did I say that? ​@@Shana_Ann8510 I think you misunderstood the comment. The comment wasn't about not having hope after sinning by having intercourse before marriage. The comment was about the gravity of such sin. Such sin It does not bring only "trouble" in your life, but Judgment and that is true. As yourself mentioned, we all have sinned and sin isn't just trouble but Judgment because God is holy and He cannot let sin pass without Judgment.

Exactly my first thought! Aside from widows or those who've had a biblical divorce due to desertion or sexual immorality, the term, "single mother", shouldn't even be a category in the first place.

Think outside the box... Maybe the father died. Maybe the father was an abuser. Maybe the father cheated and they divorced. Maybe the father abandoned the home. Maybe the father was a drug addict. Maybe they had children before coming to Christ and knowing better. So many reasons.

One could also ask where the grandfathers, uncles, and brothers are. As for the men of the church, how many are not responding because of real or perceived risks (which they need to be aware of) and forgetting Jesus overcame. By the way, some fathers disappear because they were lied to about how hard the job is, dating back to at least the 1950s, if not before.
