What does is it mean that I meet the medical requirements but not the non-medical requirement? 

My letter from SSA states " After taking consideration of medical, work history, age and education I meet the requirements for social security disability". However I am confused because the letter also states, "You will be receiving a second letter referring when a decision is made after taking into consideration of non-medical requirements". Is not work history, age, and education considered as non-medical? They are apparently contradicting themselves in the letter by these two statements. Someone please explain.

What if you filed in January 2018 but lost your private insurance a few months later. I was informed I was medically approved but unsure if losing insurance shortly after filing would be a barrier...
