Love your stuff bro. Soooo..... you’ve gotta expound on one statement from last year. When you talked about what you’ve done for work you mentioned a full list but part of your past job list was a “pastor’”. That intrigued me. As a pastor, painter and aspiring videographer myself (lots to learn 😉) I’d like to hear more about your journey, including that tidbit about being a pastor. Lol. One of the most fulfilling parts of my life is encouraging people in their lives and you do a great job in that. Thanks my friend.

Matti, thank you for being the voice of calm in the cacophony of "the sky is falling!" shrieks from everybody who seems to think Amazon owes them something. We may be ART creators but have no skin in Amazons', and all the small businesses that actually create jobs and products through Amazon, game. Everything we get as affiliates is free money. So lets' be grateful for the fruits we have received for doing what we were going to do anyway and just get on with it. The only easy day was yesterday.

I've just started my channel, well I've had it a while, but I've just started making "real" videos, and this Ad thing doesn't even come into my mind, and it's not because I cant monetize my channel yet. 1) I didn't start my channel to become a "RU-vidr" 2) I didn't start to make money 3) I started my channel to push myself creatively and to try to share my options and whatever advice I feel I can give after 15 years as a photographer and only getting into video recently. For those who RU-vid is their job, this is obv and issue and as you said there are ways around it that folks should be doing anyway. But for someone just starting or thinking to start, if the possibility of not earning a ton of money puts you off making content. You're making it all for the wrong reason, to begin with.

I have certainly seen the drop in ad revenue. Views and watch time on my main channel are both up significantly but ad revenue is way lower. Luckily my sales from the blacksmith shop are actually up this month. Thanks for the videos, stay safe.

I think the hardest thing to really grasp is that this is global, not just Country to Country. The worst part is people are using politics to assign blame, we are all in this. Time spent on blame & scheming is counter productive. Hopefully this will open a lot of peoples eyes & help makes us stronger, appreciate life just a little more... Stay safe, hope all is well. Hey Matti, Re: better quality and RU-vid compression. My Fuji XT3 shoots a bitrate of 400mbps (All Intra), but I use Lumafusion which maxes out RU-vid export at 150mbps bitrate. Does that mean lumafusion is compressing my 400? Then further being compressed by RU-vid? I’m not loving the quality. (I already shoot at 1080 and upscale to 4K like you)

Kai driving reminded me of an incident when I was a kid. I decided to play in the car and knocked the shift stick into neutral. The car then started rolling back wards down the hill it was parked on straight into a tree. luckily it never made it into the street.

Hey Matt, I got an eos r. I definitely was inspired by you and others like you.. I have loved the decision, but I've had a lot of trouble with noise while using C-Log especially inside. I know you are supposed to over expose and then drop Shadows, but if I crank the ISO much at all it falls apart. I see you inside with little light at times doing your thing. How? Lol. If you get to this cool.. if not I understand. Stay safe.
