Great video and it was such a bummer to see those guys with that mechanical. They definitely deserved better. Well done to the guys and the team. Next year!
Love the inside look! Great work and great content. Fun watching how these guys approach the race and love the competitiveness and happy fun attitude. ❤🔥👍
Lost respect for this team after their sore loser attitudes last year and unprofessionalism on camera during interviews. Also sad to see an SA brand supporting other countries and not SA riders, sad to be honest.
Hello Steve, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. At Leatt, we strive to support athletes from around the world, including those from South Africa. We're proud to have local South African riders like Donavan Le Kock, Hannes Kotze, Juanita, Mandi, Kirsten Landman, and Reinette Geldenhys representing our brand in the Cape Epic this year. We hope you enjoy watching the race this year! 😎
I would challenge anyone in that situation to respond any differently. Toyota Specialized employed clever, but also upsetting tactics for sure, and these guys are all top competitors. Nobody likes to lose, especially when you're being blocked from passing. They both seem like top guys who want to win badly, and just leave it all out there. ❤
@@philipnelson79 Specialized employed clever tactics, they used their brains and didn't break any rules. Lukas Baum acted like a whiny child who didn't get his way and lost my support that day, and the support of others I am sure. If a brand like Leatt thinks it's cool to swear at other teams on Live TV and people condone this, I don't stand with them or their brand. Speed Company could have taken the smart move on the chin and admitted it was smart. Why are smart tactics allowed in road racing and other races? But when they are used in Cape Epic then the Germans throw their toys, of course. Disrespectful sore losers.
@@OfficialLeatt Sorry but I have never heard of those riders. Try backing your local Elite racers and not some random cocky okes who do nothing for our country
