Our physics prof did the "live cockroach into liquid nitrogen" experiment back in the eighties, and he'd probably been shown it himself in the forties. As far as I can tell, the trick has been around since people have been able to liquefy gases. Spoiler alert: Cockroaches are seriously hardy little creatures. Would be cool to see you do a video. There are a few on RU-vid, but of dubious quality. An update would no doubt prove very popular and be good for a few million views.

Does liquid Nitrogen makes everything brittle.I mean not only Meat but Bones too !! If so we can devise a better means for making MINCE MEAT. First freeze it in Liquid nitrogen and then crush it some way. And lo !!! It's broken into so many small pieces which after warming up to room temperature will be turn into tender chicken pieces you can cook.

You don't need gloves since the liquid nitrogen evaporates by the heat of your hand so it isn't even touching it, that's why you don't need gloves and you might get the gloves frozen to your hands. Kinda like sticking your tongue to a pole during winter
