Why celtics wouldnt play brogdon at starting 5 brogdon smart brown tatum williams is amazing starting 5 why would they bring brogdon from the bench some explain??
Pacers got sunk like an outdated Russian cruiser in the black sea. Rumor has the culprit being a green boat with a leprechaun logo on the side of it. There are rescue tugs circling Pacers headquarters in Indy.
Don't worry about that. On a terrible Pacers team, it only took a hangnail for him to sit. For a contender, he will not miss a beat and will be the guy you're looking for. He's very impressive as I've watched him for 3 years now. You won't be sorry. AND he'll play hurt for the Celtics coach, he doesn't mince words. Remember, Brogdon had to play for Nate Bjorkgren, who was not even remotely qualified to be a coach. That coaching hire came out of nowhere.
@@harpoon_bakery162 also I heard last season they were sitting him like Horford the last games to tank and get him healthy so he has value he could’ve played like 20 more games
Both Smart and Brogdon have averaged nearly six assists per game the past couple seasons. Brogdon actually averaged over seven a few seasons ago. But maybe the biggest benefit from Brogdon is that the Celtics have a player opposing defenses cannot disregard when the Celtics are running their offense through Tatum. If healthy, this is a huge upgrade for their offense.
Dejounte Murray was the closest thing to an obtainable "true" pg, but I think Brogdan is a better fit. Murray's a worse 3-point shooter with less experience, and is 50 pounds lighter. That limits his ability to switch onto bigger wings, and makes it easier for him to get bullied on drives and post-ups. And even though Brogdon doesn't fit the mold of a true pg, he still managed to average 10 assists and 2.5 turnovers in 4 games against Jimmy Butler's Heat in the playoffs a couple of years ago (sample size 4 games).
