With the 62nd overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft the Baltimore #Ravens select Roger Rosengarten, OT, #huskies We dive deep into his game. and what he's bringing! #NFLDraft #2024nfldraft #ravensflock
He does not have good hands lol. That is one of his major weaknesses. His strength being the other. You just watched what amounted to a highlight video with a few exceptions. Go watch all his play v Michigan in National title game. It is a mess.
BS. Lol. The fact this video used the Michigan game to push Rosengarten's positives? Is downright comical. He was straight trash in that game. Plus on one the "positives" he gave up a clear pressure. In Nat title game Rosengarten gave up 11 pressures and that wasn't counting all the times he got beat off the snap but Penix had the ball out. It is little wonder Ravens fans have such an inflated view of their players. This video is pure PR for Rosengarten. Rosengarten has some serious question marks. Strength, shortish arms, too upright in stance, mediocre to poor hands and despite his athleticism he rarely if ever moved people off the spot at 2nd level. One time Rosengarten saw Latu in 2022? He got roasted repeatedly.
@@jlm4455 idk what I should do… trust my eyes and the film breakdown if at least 4 people (including ummm.. this one) Or should I believe you’re very hyperbolic reply to me saying he’s a first round prospect 🤷🏿♂️
I'm so excited about the ravens transitioning to the mobility-based run game. I'd really be curious if faalele and cleveland start this year, what do you think the run concepts look like with a outside-zone type left side through linderbaum and the big maulers on the right
The oversetting is an issue but I doubt teams would be that eager to take advantage of it by rushing on the inside of the tackle since. Teams usually wanna contain Lamar instead of giving him a sea of space to run into .
Ravens seemed to have a type of Lineman they want to transition to athletic and able to pull and get to the second level. Guys like Faalae and Cleveland who are more power wonder how will they fit
It seems to me the root of almost all of his issues is his narrow base and not keeping his weight evenly distributed between his feet. He too quickly sacrifices kick-post foot relationship in his aggressive sets and becomes narrow based, making 2 hand swipes easy, easy to get him out of the way
Curious if you counted the # of pressures RR gave up in the title game? Filmstudy Ravens counted at least 11 but noted that pff, using a different definition, counted 5 (I think).
@@RoadGradersFB things RAS doesn't show: Rosengarten amongst all the OTs prospects has the biggest strength concerns. I saw him continually get shoved back into pocket on bull rushes. His lower body looks downright spindly compared to other prospects. Backed up by the fact he struggled to anchor well. In Michigan game he was getting beat outside, inside and on bull rushes. It was ugly. In 2022 he had an equally bad game v UCLA. Which included Latu giving him fits. There are things too like, however, the need to boost him up and ignore the obvious issues? Is why Ravens fans and people on that Ravens board you help run have such an inflated view of their own players.
I'll be honest Cole, i was immensely disappointed when the Ravens passed on Kingsley. I thought getting a high upside developmental LT to sit behind Stanley for a year was more important than a RT to compete with Faalele. But I'm okay with this now because i don't have any other choice! Lol
