Live commentary of me playing through Round 16! High level battle factory content I hope you enjoy :) MY DISCORD / discord MY TWITCH / lrxc_ Like and subscribe do it do it do it
Your insane energy commentating ADV revival brought me here and i'm sooo glad i gotta have 500 hours at battle factory hahaha lowkey some of the best mons content on yt
you pointing out bad outcomes, them immediately occurring, and you somehow barely making it through is really entertaining. i was on the edge of my seat when that starmie was revealed to be set 1. and that starmie ended up still being pretty important to the run! cool af
Yeah the learning process is scary but exciting, and yeah LOL god what a crucial mistake on Starmie, but your right it ended up being okay! Glad you enjoyed this!!
Dude's like a half-step away from reverse engineering the damn game with the amount of homework he's doing. I love the amount of detail he goes into as well. He has like, a Ph.D in Pokemon
I know you realized it after but I kept saying when the starmie came up "you didn't see shell bell because it was at full health and went first for the first attack, and the second your quick claw activated, so it could never heal"
@@LRXC1 you should upload more of these or do Rogue Emerald runs or something it was really interesting running though your decision making. Doing calcs on the fly and just fun to watch.
Regice literally means "king of ice" from latin "regi" that means "king's". That goes also for all the other regis: of rock, of steel, of giants, of electricity and of dragons
Damn, no wonder I couldn't beat the battle factory as a young lad, you really, truly gotta know your stuff to dunk on the opponents. Impressive. Makes me wanna jump back into gen 3
The investment that's on show in this video made me so excited about Emerald Battle Factory. Love that every single battle has energy and deep thought going into it!
Found this randomly and just wanted to say that this is really good content. The mode is great, it's something that anyone can enjoy since the barrier of entry is really low. No need to build your pokemon from scratch, the starting line is the same for all. Rest is skill based, and on this point your commentary is really good, the rythm is nice and the slow paced nature of the combat goes well with the added tactical and strategical insight. Nowdays I just play the first 5 gen, since I don't like the newer games as much. And even then gen 3 is far from being my favorite, but here you just gave me a good reason to do emerald (only did saphir at the time and it was such a departure from crystal atmosphere...).
This was really entertaining I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you look up all the Pokémon to figure out what they were, some really cool sets like your regice and registeel! I'd absolutely watch more of this battle factory content!
Thank you for this feedback! I am glad you enjoyed it, I love the factory and will return to it eventually, doing a lot for ADV Revival as you might know haha
@@LRXC1 oh yeah I'm in the loop on that I've always loved gen 3 and seeing this real push for gen 3 competitive is amazing to see, I would've joined the tournament myself but when it comes to competitive I get a bit nervous, but been enjoying the videos especially the duskull and dusclops one. Keep up the good work!
Im so glad this popped up in my recommended, this is literally amazing! i only really played battle factory as a kid and it was easily my favorite content in emerald-- granted I wasn't very good at it haha. i love the way you talk through your strategies and what you're expecting to happen, the in-depth analysis is so so good. rooting for you to get that record eventually. this has definitely inspired me to give battle factory a real, honest try now that i've got lots of pokemon experience under my belt.
Amazing!!!! I plan to make a 5 minute battle factory guide soon with all this newfound excitement and people wanting to try it out themselves!!!!! And yes I will get that record, someday, unfortunately this streak ended at 113 wins (lost 2nd battle of Round 17) the world record is 119!
Ok so the internet me wants to say I never knew it was this deep. The inventory guy plus the fact I took a six sigma course can really enjoy a good spreadsheet
"How did I do that?!?!" He says, after 30 minutes of using various tools and planning literally every possible outcome, doing the math, and thinking extremely hard on it.
oh my god that was so stressful to watch lol. amazing content. i used to grind the whole battle frontier in high school, glad to see people still playing this.
LRXC after seeing 2 Regis and a Starter from another region: "Uuuuugh, not the best draft guys" The Battle Factory workers that had to catch and bring each mon here, watching you diss each one: "Well, fuck you too then"
6k subs is severely underrated for content of this level, it was entertaining throughout. I had no idea gen 3 had such depth to it, even though it was my childhood pokemon game. The registeel set up was so satisfying to see you pull it off.
I spent literally 7 minutes going back and forth between like 13:10 and 13:40 trying to figure out why Arcanine 2 was really bad when Arcanine 1 was an Adamant physical attacker using Crunch, just to remember we're playing Emerald, SpAtk. Nostalgia + frustration. In one shot. This video has earned way more than a like.
The level of knowledge you have and your ability to determine everything the enemy is capable of before it happens is wild. Genuinely really impressed with the sheer mastery on display here.
@@brandonallen2301Perhaps it’s a time to try! Thank you for this encouragement, it means a lot, would honesrly be a dream to make ADV Content and make a living off of it
I'm in both the frontier and pkclassic discords and I salute how far you've gotten. I'm currently trying to accomplish the gold factory in Platinum and it aint easy at all even with all mons listed etc.
Idk how I came across this video cuz I dont play pokemon anymore, but grew up on gen 1-3 then lost interest so its cool to see this and the way you're so knowledgeable about it all us impressive.
Be me: Never watched competitive Pokemon of any sort See this guy do crazy damage calcs whilst utilising extremely in-depth notes on every opponent and Pokemon possible. MY MIND IS BLOWN 😭 It fills me with a sense of awe that reminds of speedrunning. Just passionate people pushing their favourite games to their absolute limits
@@LRXC1 you know I’m not really sure. Just thought that the set was really garbage and I can’t believe you chose it over wishcash. Like omg how could you make such a mistake not seeing the shell bell due to it having full hp.
Unfortuntately I lost before I could get the World Record, but ill be uploading more videos from the streak, and am currently doing more attempts live on RU-vid a lot of days!! Including tomorrow!
Not gonna drop names -> *hardcore analysis*, "Imma supper pro player those two strats are blabla" -> *flips a coin, hit a move and hope for the best* My man! -> "Oh fudge, I didn't think about that!" *thinks, recovers from said mistake, moves on* WOW!!! ❤
LRXC: *gets the wrong variation of Starmie after intense calculations and and the slightest of errors* "oh my God I have no words, what an incredible mistake." Me: *tries to use earthquake on flygon with levitate for the 3rd time* "that's okay, I just forgot (:"
The pokemon battle frontier. The only place in Pokemon where an Electabuzz gives you trouble. I lost to a double team leech seed megainium and almost lost my shit one time.
1st time on this channel, 19mins in, subbed, hit the bel and clicked thumbs up. I was trying to enjoy the gameplay and analysis but I got distracted by how much dedication you were putting into it 😜🤣 Big love, keep them videos comming you're killing it!
Can’t believe I did my boy whiscash like that, and yeah I literally added a sticky note on the outside of my second monitor that said “Shell Bell?” To always remind me to ask myself that question!!! Looool
i like to think theres more than just two people who have beat this since its not like anyone would quit part way through end game content, but its just that most people dont even realize its a record
It got to the point where everyone you battled had mostly competitive legendary pokemon that the subway allows and the teams were even organized to counter everything you have . It had gotten to the point where I was saving after every attack. Particularly the Super battles in BW2, since they went past 21 battles, and are endless. Idk if the first games were the same, I just never tried it.
8:29 you dont need to know percentage damage to calc. calc gives all possible hp values in damage you can take. it did 88hp so it can be any of the starmies as 88hp. See the "possible damage amounts" below the calc statement
