Listening to someone's grief and sorrow and holding a safe compassionate space for them requires courage. Unfortunately, some ppl in the name of spirituality and religion prevent those in distress and pain from being authentic and speaking their truth. Shaming others and using spiritual lingo, instead of showing human compassion and being there and listening to those in pain, is not spirituality. True spirituality is being connected to your heart, human feelings, and emotions and being there for yourself and others to honor our humanity. That's why we are here, to be human and be there for one another. There is no hierarchy in true spiritual practice. Different dimensions aren't higher places to go to. They are states of our consciousness that we explore through meditation, self-knowledge, and internal/external realizations.
