He was absolutely fucking incredible in this. I’m so glad he was recognized for this performance. For me personally, the empathy felt for Korey, seeing Jharrel’s facial expressions, the confusion and total fear is at times almost too heavy and emotional, in that his acting is so great.
I’m pretty sure they didn’t allow cameras in this crooked case. The good lord will handle those ppl accordingly smh. There is no in between Good and Evil
I hope y'all understand that they trew 6 teenagers in jail for a crime they didn't have anything to do with. Korey was trialed as an adult because he was the oldest. This actually happened, and he lost years of his youth because he couldn't read and wanted to help a friend
So wrong, they were out at central park beating people up and very possibly had something to do with the jogger. This is the worst case of criminal injustice to make into a documentary because the teenagers werent the saints and innocents they are made out to be now but rather proven to be violent criminals
Damn this is like really sad in this drama like I just can't 😢. He says that he can't read I feel sad and she's like telling him to read the sentence like and he's kind of like freaking out like you can't read
@@Mangotunde I saw the show they all went into the park following the bigger kids crazy cause Kevin could have went home but he saw the crowd and wanted to be a part of it not knowing his luck would run out At just 14 same as Corey if he never went down the station with Kane he would have been a free man back in 89 but he was being a good friend
To be honest, in this scene, he looked suspicious. Why didn't he tell the reason why he skipped school ? Plus, did he or the parents of the five kids really believe they would go back home after confessing rape and sexual assault on tape ??
