What does the 118 code mean?

The error code 118 indicates that there is low water pressure within the system. This video explains the simple fix that all homeowners can perform themselves. (pre 2019 model boiler)
ATAG Heating Technology only ever supplies its products to Gas Safe registered businesses. If you are not Gas Safe registered, you must not interfere with the internal operation of the boiler. Not only will this invalidate your warranty, but you also put yourself and other people at risk. Gas Safety should always be left in the hands of professional, Gas Safe Registered individuals and businesses.

Pressure on the boiler is absolutely fine but the 118 code stays on. The 118 code must indicate a fault other than water pressure.

Ah man I did, but it was 2 years ago and I'm not exactly sure what I did. Have you recently installed a thermostat or removed one? Think it was something to do with that

@@Chris-sh7kr thanks for getting back! I havent changed anything =/ for the last few days it started happening but I could always "reset" it and it would go back to normal. Today the "reset" stopped working and I don't know what else to do now, I have no hot water at all. I will have to call the maintenance and hope someone can drop by tomorrow =/

To the best of my knowledge, I believe I had to replace the pump because it seized. If you check the manual for the 118 fault its either because of low pressure or a siezed pump. If you haven't worked on a boiler before best to call a gas engineer but I changed the pump myself it's not too difficult if you are up to it.
