I was slain in the Spirit immediately after receiving Jesus as my Lord and Saviour..wow what a touch of God. I do speak in tongues tho I had no teaching on this…or being Slain in the Spirit at the time…🙏🏼🤗

There are gifts of the Spirit, and they are to be used for the Glory of God. However, the gifts of "speaking in tongues" and prophecy, and healing, were gifts given ONLY the original Apostles to aid them in winning converts to the new religion. BTW, speaking in tongues did NOT mean speaking gibberish. It meant that the Apostles had the gift to speak and understand ALL languages. Those gifts died with the last original Apostle. We Disciples, are given gifts like discernment, and the ability to comfort, and the desire to live as an example to humanity as Jesus taught us in the Sermon on the Mount.

Thank you brother for your careful approach to the Word of God. May those who believe in Jesus Christ, receive all that God has provided for them, us, through the Life, death, burial and resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, without doubting.

"What Does the Bible Say About Speaking in Tongues" Good question Tiff, kind Sir... For this subject has been debated for probably centuries. But never more than when the "Pentecostal" church (and it's spin off churches) were created in 'circa 1906, in Sacramento, CA. Who believed: that the "Holy Spirit" comes down on them; and then they begin "talking in tongues". IE: Yet there are MANY more denominations that have never done that. And most of them blast the Pentecostals and their spin off churches. With no uncertain terms; calling them bad names. Espousing that the bible never meant that! But the debate and arguments never stop to this day. And that denomination IS the fastest growing church in the world. My take on that "phrase" in Acts and other books; in the NT is this: When Jesus told his disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel; that caused a MAJOR problem. And that is: how were they going to communicate with a myriad number of different languages (AKA: often called "Speaking in tongues" in the bible). Well "no worries" folks! Jesus created a miracle; so that when the disciples preached...EVERY person that would not normally have understand their "tongue"; the Holy Spirit caused the listener to hear the disciples; in their own tongue. And vice versa; when they would speak in their own tongue; the disciples heard them in their own tongue. Awesome mystery. This went on for about a 100 yrs; until the "Christian Gospel: had grown to such a huge massive "Christian world" (at that time); there was NO reason for "Speaking in Tongues" any more. So it died off, of course. But sadder: their are people, that believe "Ghostly, Superstitious; and Demoniacal" scenarios. And the rest is History. Sad, but very true. And end of story. May Jesus have mercy... ...In any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. This is the only thing I have disagreed with you, if I did that as some I would feel I was possessed by demons but if it was a human language would love to speak any earthly language that God gave the people at Babel. I well felt the difference when the Holy Spirit entered with my spirit when I became born again and boldness came. 🇨🇦

Thank you for these sermons explaining this because my husband and I have been attending a church and we're baptized in the name of Jesus, however, it seems as though the pastor strongly expressed that we must show evidence of deliverance through speaking in tongues, even though only a handful of members are speaking in languages that are not interpreted by anyone, I am seeking decernment through God Almighty and his word, I am not meaning to question God's people however the word says to test the spirits, please advise because there are questionable statements that leave an unsettling in my spirit. I don't know how to pray in tongues,, I pray in English to God.

All I can say is;””””I THANK THE LORD GOD for the GIFT of TONGUES”””””🙌 💥 I can pray for hours and never get tired.💥 Also I have received the gift of prophecy, tongues-interruption etc. I actually never asked for other gifts, but the Lord has given them to me. In ministering I praise the Lord--for--HIS--Gifts of the Spirit.🙌

So my question when Paul "baptized the believers" did he perform another water baptism or just the laying of hands?

Speaking in tounges is speaking in actual other languages. People cleam to be be speaking in tounges but they are just babbling and talking mumbo jumbo. It edifices nobody and it makes no sense to me.if your only language is English and you speak in a room full of Spanish speaking people they all hear you in Spanish even though you are speaking english.

Is it possible for God to refuse to give a baptized, believer, a Christian, the gift of the Holy Spirit?

English. I received my baptism of the holy spirit I was gifted rock solid faith. My prayers are answered point by point. I prayed for my aunt to win a pick 3 and she won twice. And relieved a windfall of almost$100,000 from a insurance settlement. The spirit who lives in me granted me authority in prayer and knowledge of the word of god.?

Acts 10:37 does not say in my NLT, Amplified, or NKJV that they began speaking in tongues. Please clarify which verse you were reading. It was around 39:57 in this presentation. In the Upper Room there were witnesses outside to confirm that there was a speaking in tongues. When Ananias laid his hands on Saul and we know about the scales falling from his eyes, why would there be no mention of Saul speaking in tongues if it hadn't happened. Ananias would've been the only witness, so Ananias would've confirmed it if it had happened. That's a rhetorical question. I'm not being dogmatic, but I see the flow of your teaching. I believe I have been baptized by the Holy Spirit, but I have no witnesses to confirm that I, indeed, have ever spoken in tongues. I guess that's the cost of a loner, no one has heard me if I have indeed done so. I know I've been heard groaning in my sleep because I've heard the neighbors mocking me through the thin walls. Could I INFER that that would be counted as speaking in tongues...or having groanings of the Holy Spirit? [Romans 8:28]

I believe your teaching. It’s clearly in God’s Word. Why do some Bible teachers say it’s of the devil? Is this not blasphemous?

I want to receive the holy spirit and talk in tongues.

Acts 10:47 “Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?” These recieved the Holy Spirit before they were baptized.. Water Baptism doesn't save you, Spirit Baptism does. There's a lot of people Baptized w/ water that just got wet, not saved. . Matthew 10: 7. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give . A show of the flesh is meaningless.

It is quite amazing how people will listen to teaching on something and ignore every detail of it, just bc their mind is already so made up it doesn't matter what scripture says. They pretend that scripture is not even there, bc if they READ it, and acknowledge it says what it says, they'd have to admit their view has been wrong! They'll love all you say, as long as they agree with you, but give them written scripture from the Bible that contradicts the opinion of their favorite preacher or denomination, and they'll totally refuse it and insist you are wrong! How dangerous it is when we reject God's word, the TRUTH, bc we can't humbly admit our opinion on something has been a mistake. Scripture ALONE is supposed to be our final authority on everything, if it's not, then our opinion is our idol. So, so dangerous!

Holy Ghost ??? Is God a Ghost or Spirit ? Ghost, Spirit, & wind in the English NT are the same exact word in the Greek NT = pneuma. Greek Pneuma = Breath of God, John 20:22 Hebrew ruach = Breath of God, Genesis 2:7

Tiff w 26:08 hy don't you give s sermon in Tongues, answer nobody will understand, I listen because you speak in English , speak in Tongues what would that achieve in terms of biblical understanding, the answer is I would not learn a jot or a tittle , nada, nil ,nix, zilch nicths, nichegi , Nothing.
