I know this video is from a year ago, but I have a true story about angels that just happened last week. I was up early enough to catch a weekday mass stream from our church. I was streaming it on my phone. When our priest lifted up the host, I heard very clearly the word holy being sung over and over slowly. I wasn't sure at first, then as people started walking up to receive, I heard it a little softer the whole time. There is music whatsoever or even any musicians there near the microphones during the week.
I would like to know what it feels like to be in the presence of an Angel? I was doing Novena to St. Michael and I felt a change in the atmosphere and this gush of air in my face. I am praying inside living room so I was wondering where the wind came from but then I thought maybe St.Micheal flapped his wings.
Hello from Canada guys! Love the show and have been listening since episode 1. My wife and I were married on December 22nd in Toronto and flew to Rome the next day for our honeymoon. We got the chance to spend Christmas with Pope Francis at Christmas Eve Mass. I'm telling you this because I can assure you that the show has been listened to in Vatican City because I listened to your Christmas Day episode while I was there on Spotify! Keep doing what you're doing! This show has taught me a lot, helps me to keep my thoughts on God and gives me new directions for my prayer life all the time. I look forward to every new episode! For whatever it is worth I saw a program by a Jewish Archaeologist and during his show he interviewed a Jewish scholar who is able to read the most ancient texts and he stated that in the original language nephilim was used to mean 'those without souls' vs 'those with souls'. As we now know Neanderthals and humans co-existed so it is very possible that Nephilim is being used to describe Neanderthals. Think when Caine is banished and he states that the 'others' will kill him. Who were the 'others'? The only humans (homo-sapiens) we know of were Adam & Eve and their children. This actually makes the most logical and reasonable explanation that ties scripture and that which archaeology as given to us.
Neandertals and modern humans did not co-exist even on The Flintstones. "Caine states that the others will kill him. Who are the others?" They were the same folks over in the next county where Adam and Eve's sons went to get wives, I guess. Miss-stating science to try to prove the Bible is a Protestant thing. I thought Catholics were better than that.
And I can’t remember where I came across this information so it may not Biblical, but that somewhere in some book, someone saw an angel and game their description of that angel and using the measurements of size from that time (like how the Tabernacle was instructed to be built, cubit’s or something) but by those measurements translated into measurements of length as we know them today, would make that angel being MILES/Kilometer’s in how tall they were. That blew my mind.
I hope and pray mine is the biggest baddest dude around with a massive sword. In truth he has to be because he has been through some stuff just keeping me safe and helping me to be where I am. I don't want or need fluffy....I need and hope he's a major warrior with a terrifying countenance.
This has alot of truth to there words. If the human being is unaware of themselves they can have their space possessed. Information does rise and fall and we know not where they come from. We can bring thg into existence by taking owns hip. We know not what we are when we bind ourself to thgs. Great discussion!
It would have been worth mentioning (when talking about the Book of Revelations) the Blessing promised (in the beginning) and the Warning declared (at the end). I don’t think most people understand them and have been leaving a promised blessing on the table.
I love this podcast. I was a bit weirded out by the nefalym , the giant children of angels and women, but at the same time I had always wondered about the genetic issues caused by only having 2 human beings at the start of the world. their children would not be able to have children without some issues unless I am mistaken. maybe these angels helped???? still very strange.
if i’m not mistaken. i think that it’s believed that adam and eve had at least two other children: seth, and a daughter. (they may have had more. we don’t know) but that’s what i’ve heard
Doesnt it puzzle anybody that our knowledge of angels is based on mostly the church fathers... Hebrews referred to them as elojim which translates as either god or from the heavens. Where is this information coming from? Just songs and old stories? Just seems kinda ignorant. I believe in god and Jesus and the saints. I believe in angels I just dont believe we have credible sources
no it seems the angles did not breed offspring, known as the nephilim. This seems to be an incorrect reading of genesis 6 not in agreement with Catholicism. there were no human-angel hybrids pls address this. Love you guys, god bless
I'm sorry guys...Angels do not have the equipment to reproduce with humans! They are pure spirit! I would suggest listening to Peter Kreeft...he is known to be the Catholic expert on angels. Great show though!
If Father Rich is going to travel to a lot of places, he should get a map of the world and stick pins everywhere he goes. He just needs to make sure to travel to the far corners of the world first…so that his map doesn’t fall down…😂😂😂. But seriously, I am glad the Nephilim are not dogma. But if they actually did exist, do you think they could be from the fallen angels? It seems wrong for the good angels to behave in such a way with humans, especially since humans and angels can’t marry each other.
God is the singularity responsible for the big bang. According to the laws of conservation (which cannot be broken) that singularity had to be equal to or greater than all of the mass, energy, and information/intelligence in the universe, past, present, and future combined. Since things are neither created or destroyed this means God became the universe. God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. God is everything everywhere. The angels/sons of God/Elohim (the plural name of God) were created before man and are the ones responsible for creating man. These beings are capable of creating a human using DNA from a rib. Notice they had to put Adam/man into a deep sleep in order to extract the rib. No magic here. No sorcery here. No miracle here. This is technology. The offspring of the sons of God and daughters of men were "heroes of old, men of renown" like Hercules, Thor, etc.
Is it a required Catholic belief that angels mated with humans? Cause I do not believe that. The Sons if God we’re earthly kings, and the Daughters of Men were multiple wives. Their children were the Nephilim, who were heroic figures. Angels can’t mate with humans. That’s not possible within Catholic theology.

If someone suddenly heard some being told him "I'm now entering you.", then actually felt it entered him and stays inside him, how can he know if it's an angel, god, God, saint, ghost, ancestor, evil, etc.? Saw Jesus Christ transfigurated in front me, with eyes like glowing orange flames like a pigeon's eyes but real flames fully dressed in a resplandecent white tunic ( His Body?) He fully looked like a Son of a God. Was also visited by lucifer or the devil, but that was a rather less pleasant experience...couldn't see him but I felt the terror going in front of him, like a terror I didn't know existed...the prince of terrors...God is a much nicer experience. Just a Catholic from Portugal.

Just recently discovered your channel so this comment is pretty late coming but I just had to say something about Our Lord in Gethsemane. I was taught as a child (will be 70 this year) that the Archangel Gabriel was the guardian angel of Our Lady and therefore would have been with her at this sorrowful time. Many believe, including many saints, that it was St Michael who was at Jesus's side in Gethsemane. Who better than the Prince and General of the heavenly hosts to be by His side offering strength and comfort. Something to contemplate on I guess.

I was sitting on my balcony praying the Rosary overlooking a pond and all of the sudden I saw a light moving and dancing on the water. There was no one outside and I looked up and didn't see anything.
The city of LA really should chage their tleir name to Gamora and or song and New York City change their name to Gamora and or Sodom. So on United States we have to Accurate cities damn for what they are which is Sodom and Gomorrah
