Anthony Hutchins exactly hate when dumbasses say that. What leads to innovation is problems. Half the stuff we have wouldn’t exist if war didn’t push a need for it to exist. A great example of spray cans. Soldiers dying of malaria in Japan needed a way to fight mosquitoes. So they decided to shrink a plane propeller. No one would’ve thought of that if war hadn’t pushed for the innovation.

It's funny you say that because an event that led to the fastest development in regards to space exploration was ironically a passive war - the cold war between USA and the Soviet Union. What we really need as humanity is motivation! Motivation in order to excel and progress.

Unless it's a submarine unlike any other that Earth has ever built it would immediately plunge to the bottom of one of their deep lakes. Liquid ethane/methane is far less dense than water. A person would sink like a stone, so a submarine - forget about it. It would need to have inflatables with hydrogen or helium to have a chance to stay buoyant

So it made me wonder, what's to stop us from just taking it back to earth and just...adding air, or whatever element would be needed to make it similar to our oil, for energy use? Earth's oil is just hydrocarbons as well.

It's the only object in our solar system that I wish it was closer than it is, as close as possible to us.

Titan is by far favorite moon because sure it’s *very* cold but some alien life form could adapt like people do to temperature and they could adapt to simple licks of ice could refuel their thirst But we can only dream

We have very little information about Titan, but it appears to be an arctic tundra, covered with icy flat plains and 'rocks' which may be residue from meteorites and/or frozen ices. It would be overwhelmingly dark. Unlike our Moon the sky would be most illuminated when the planet Saturn is directly overhead and not the Sun. We expect to find bodies of liquids, but this we guess from the radar returns; flat liquids often leave a black color to radar mapping with limited returns.
