What Does Tyson Fury Have Left to Give in Boxing? 

There must be a reason why AJ and Fury couldn’t just pressure Usyk and try to bully him. He must hit way harder than people think.

My thing is that Tyson has proven time and time again that he’s a way better fighter on the front foot and refuses to push forward

Fighting in ugly fight against Usyk would’ve been the biggest mistake fury would’ve done. He would’ve gassed out and don’t forget Usyk can brawl he can make it a dirty fight too. Fury fought the right way against Usyk but Usyk is clearly a better fighter.

I fully agree with Sean. Fury has a better chance to beat Usyk in the rematch than Joshua. If he goes that road, it will end badly for Fury. Joshua will destroy him.

Fury gets far too much credit for his checkered career. Dude saying Usyk would of lost to Fury from Wilder 2!?! It was just before that fight Wallin bust Fury up. Usyk was in his prime then at 32! He would of boxed Furys head off 😂 Fury career from what should of been a loss against McDermott, getting dropped numerous times in his career by even likes of Neven Pajkic. Nasty messy win against Klitschko, and avoided rematch. Fury fought very lowly ranked fighters before and around Wilder trilogy (Sederi, Pianeta, Schwarz, Wallin) so he could showboat and suck fans in. The Wilder Fury massive PR push hype was the biggest career builder for both fighters and got even pro pundits twisted on both fighters level. Niether had fought 90% of the top 15 and pundits were labelling them no1 and 2 in the world. Truth is there was not market outside a Joshua fight. Fury vs Klitschko Fury got £600k. Wilder only just cleared 2m for the first time by Ortiz fight. Even Wilder vs Fury 1 ran a loss. Dont believe the hype. Very good fighter but not this era or generational great.

AJ was more compatituve ag Usyk. The fight was closer and fairly judged and scored. With Fury and Warren you always has to be twice better because judges usually influenced somehow and same with ref. Good luck Usyk in the rematch he deserved it all.

AJ looks good against who what's to say he gets in there with the first top guy and after getting hit a few times he don't go back to the scared fighter afraid to throw from fear of getting hit and ko like Andy Ruiz fight that started downfall

More punches to the head overall in boxing, yes, but the way MMA-refs doesn't stop the fights when guys are knocked down (and sometimes even out!)... I've seen fighters hop on and do ground and pound on unconscious fighters multple times... A MMA fan can never tell me MMA is more safe when they don't have the concept of knockdowns.

Fury has been dropped eight times in the pros - McDermitt, Cunninham, Wilder, Nggannou and Uysk. Three of those guys are 6'3 and three of them dropped Fury with overhand lefts or rights. If you think Fury can keep eating shots like this and live to tell the tale, you don't understand human anatomy. Every knock down you suffer makes you more susceptible to more knock downs. Punch resistance does not just go with age - it goes with punches too. Uysk has never been dropped in the pros and only been dropped once in the amateurs - by the human wrecking ball that is Artur Beterbiev. If Fury decides to run this fight back with Uysk, he's getting stopped. He's got far more mileage on the clock despite being younger and he can't pull a late-career flourish out the bag like a Donaire or a Breidis because he hasn't lived the life and has treated his body like garbage. I've heard other people say he only needs to 'be more aggressive' and 'bully' Uysk. Putting an extra stone on won't help him. It'll make him easier to hit. Adopting a front-foot pressure game will give Uysk more opportunities to land clean shots, not less. These strategies helped Fury when he was facing a guy with no backfoot game and no footwork - Wilder. They will not work with Uysk, who is a legitimate all-time great.

Tbh watching that fight fury had usyk outclassed fury just played to much and didn’t take it seriously I said it while watching I said if fury keep dancing he gonna get caught and that’s what happened best believe rematch fury getting him outta there usyk was hurt and gassed fury was just playing to much should’ve been a tie usyk won 1-2 fury 3-8 usyk 9-12 that’s 6 rounds a piece unless u wanna count knock down points
