the concept of ecology in sustainable development is fascinating and relevant. But in this talk it seems the processes and principles of ecology are adopted and stretched to deliver optimised industrial gains, not ecological benefits. The example of diversity is one of the most prominent one. Diversity in nature creates resilience, so rejecting that principle in sustainable development is not about taking learning from nature, only applying the vocabulary.
