To me the show didn't die with McDreamy. Sure it was a hard blow, but I thought it would die with Christina's departure and it didn't, and it still didn't with McDreamys! Ellen truly carries the show. BUT what did kill the show for me was that TOO MANY other characters left in a short period and the ones remaining (except Meredith) are either characters we don't feel strongly about or we just don't know enough to keep watching. Because the plot truly is a mess. Kinda sad.

Tbh that whole “Pick me, choose me, love me.” I didn’t like it you shouldn’t have to beg someone to love you and for him to not even choose him I stopped watching.I was mad at her character. About a month later I went back to watching it I really wanted to see what happens next. I’m glad I went back to it. When Derek got shot and Jackson made the shooter think he died Meredith drops down on her knees and says she can’t live without him. So when right Before he dies and she says I can live without you I just don’t want to. Made me realize that there relationship was rocky a little before he died was actually good thing she learned to live without him. And while he’s in DC she hasn’t lost a patient since he left. That showed me that maybe he was blocking her career from growing. Don’t get me wrong I loved there relationship and I loved Derek but Christina telling her she’s the sun and not Derek made her realized she doesn’t need a man to be great she was already extraordinary

Love her sooo much and the show !! In the beginning sure it was awesome her going through the bs of dating finding her so called mc dreamy blah blah I mean that in a good way way . Most relationships have issues what she went through as a character, the show being part of we as women need a man and we give up so much for them only to have what ? I love they allowed her character to grow and be her own woman not defined by a man . I know we look for tv as an escape from our lives . I love seeing empowering women and recognizing as people we grow older and wiser. As women a lot of us are conditioned to not speak up for what we want or deserve. Asking for more money is something we should do. The world is not there yet with equal pay for women . I truly don’t believe the show let others go to pay her salary the show makes plenty of money and they have bought new people on the show . Don’t hate on empowerment when a woman is trying to be her best . Ellen is a great role model and I love her activism in other areas !!

$575 per ep seems like chump change for how long the shows been on. The last 2 seasons of friends they made 1 mil per ep.

I love Meredith so much! And Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show in the whole world!!! But, I do wish (hopefully during a time, when I am ready lol) that they end the show on a good, STRONG NOTE. I know how some performers/actors like to keep going until they can't, but I hope that this show ends in a good memorable way. My hopes for GA: I hope it ends off in a time wrap. Where we see their kids as the surgeons. We see Alex and Lizzie's twins, Sophia, Bailey's boys, but especially ZOLA as a neurosurgeon!!!! I also think it'll be a good ending if the little girl who Derek saved before he die, is a intern at Seattle Grace. I think that would be the absolute cutest.

Sorry to “bust your bubble” but I would stay for the money to. They cut off the part were she said she loves the fans and the actors to. And she did deserve more money because the show is IN HER NAME. And no she didn’t attend on getting those actors fired she even tried to get them to stay on so don’t talk about something you know NOTHING about. And if you actually watch her she dosent think she walks on water, she works her ASS off to get where she is today. And not to mention her mother died at the age of 5
