I want to see Bruce Campbell as a superhero in the MCU. Which superhero would he be? The first one that comes to mind is Wonderman. I think he'd fill that role well. Maybe he could be Balder - an important Asgardian we haven't yet seen in the movies. None of the characters from Alpha Flight seem right for Bruce. At least, not that I can think of. Hercules? Oh! How 'bout Jack of Hearts! They've already mentioned Contraxia in the GotG movies. So why not?

Bruce Cambell was the Raimi Verse's version of Mysterio orginally, so maybe they could adapt that and make him Raimiverse Doctor Strange, paying off the line in Spider-Man 2.

I would like to mention, that relatively recently in the comics, there was a scientifically advanced person who used technology to wipe out magic in multiple dimensions before being defeated by a near powerless Dr. Strange. Just interesting considering the fact that there where super advanced robots as well as cuffs that could block his magic.

After having recently rewatched the first Doctor Strange movie (along with subtitles), the first MCU reference to the Multiverse - at least as far as I'm aware - is in that movie when the magic taught at Kamur-taj is described as "tapping into power across the Multiverse"

I'm really, thinking Deadpool, himself is going to show up and just mess with things. I can see, him sitting in a giant donut, homer Simpson style and being casual while eating a churro, just for humor purposes. It fits the character and he can regenerate from a toe nail, which is shown in the comics.

actually looking back at it...... the build up to MoM is genius..... First they tease the possibility in Far From Home but ends up being a coincidence..... Then we're given our first real hint of the possibility in Wandavision...only for it to be flipped on its head as the ultimate troll. Fast forward to when No Way Home is released all these rumors and leaks get out but we're skeptical because of what happened in WandaVision and then get the ultimate payoff when characters from both spidey universes (Tobey & Andrew) show up. Long Story Short: THIS MOVIE IS GONNA BE FRICKIN INSANE!!!!!!!!!!

Particularly, I enjoyed the fact that you didn't take so long into the Wanda-villain thing. I know it makes sense because of comics and stuff, and House of M, but this is not the Comics, and she's already had that character arc... Making Wanda a villain here because "Darkhold" and "my kids" is pretty much WandaVision recap (but "magic" and "Vis" instead). I really hope Wanda is a HEROINE here and is just bringing stuff up to Strange (stuff like Far From Home x WandaVision). Can't wait for cameos, but honestly, don't make Wanda go through the SAME arc again Feige, please...

My guess. The casually dressed Wanda is the Wanda from Wandavision in a separate reality. The one in the scarlet witch costume is the mcu Wanda that tried to take her kids from the casual clothing Wanda. The main reason for this guess is the busted up house around them

I actually REALLY hope we do have a scene with Strange Supreme and Scarlet Witch-OUR nexus Scarlet Witch. He would be the perfect person for her to talk to, to reason with. HE KNOWS LOSS like she has-he brought the woman he loved BACK FROM THE DEAD and in the process, DESTROYED HIS UNIVERSE and still ended up just. Like. Her....Alone. Strange destroyed his universe due to his selfishness, and Wanda nearly destroyed a town, and took the people hostage and TORMENTED THEM due to her selfishness. But Strange Supreme was able to be redeemed, because he helped the watcher. He helped when he had not ONE. Reason to...he helped even though the watcher just stood by and WATCHED Strange desperately try to fix things when it was too late. I think this might be the point of no return for Wanda, considering she DOES end up COVERED in blood, and murder is just really hard for some people to forgive, but I'd like Strange Supreme to be the one to at least try to help her over OUR Stephen.

Wanda didn't do the Hex because of Selfishness, but grief. And when she did realize what she was doing, her keeping it up was selfish, but it wasn't tell later that she realized she was hurting the people in it, and when she did, she tried to let them go. Tried to do the right thing.

No no no even when they were BEGGING to be let go "I want to go home" "please, let us go" "we feel your pain" she kept DENYING THEM, and was just "no no please stop" she was telling her victims to stop asking her to let them go. THEN SHE CHOKED THEM OUT. Then the elderly lady LITERALLY ASKS HER TO LET THEM DIE. And Wanda STILL was like "okay but AFTER I DO SOME THINGS FIRST." That....I'm sorry but mental illness DOES NOT. GIVE. YOU. THE RIGHT. TO BEHAVE AS WANDA DID. Nor does grief.

There's no reason the Professor X in this movie has to be a different variant just because Professor X died. All those villains in the Spider-Man movie had also died prior to them being pulled across dimensions.

its not so much lore reasons as to why but the actors themselves. Both hugh jackman and patrick steward expresses reservations about reprising their roles because of the movie logan and how well it was a final farewell to THOSE iterations of the characters Logan and Prof. X. It meant so much to both actors they didnt want to overwrite or discredit that farewell by immediately jumping on the MCU train however, coming back as VARIANTS of those characters means the actors can still have that meaningful farewell with those versions of logan and prof. X and also come back. its a win win for everyone that way. it also means we can have a completely new fresh version of the characters, but with the benefir of familiar faces. at least thats my take~

My headcanon says that all the villains from NWH are actually variants of the characters from the Raimi/Webb movies, due to all of them having slightly different appearances/inconsistent memories about the events of their movies. I only believe Tobey and Andrew are the actual versions from their movies.

If you think the animation might be off putting, the episodes are all episodic so at least watch the first one which is Captain Britain, then ep 4 which is "What if Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?" Benedict Cumberbatch KILLS it in that episode. Then the last half are a mini arc. "No, no, no, no, no....I'm sorry.....I'm so....sorry." I mean....oof. You wanna hug the man.

I am so looking forward to this movie. I am looking forward to the Multiverse of Madness so much. I love that most of the Disney series are being referenced in the trailer...and I love how No Way Home was just a prequel to this movie...like No Way Home was nothing compared to the craziness that is about to be unleashed and No Way Home was nuts. I am still high from No Way Home. I cannot imagine how hyped I will be after Multiverse of Madness ... I'm hyped AF right now 🤣 hahaha.

Nexus beings aren't the same in each reality. They are like anchor points, or keystones for the multiverse. A reality can't exist without its nexus being. Nexus beings have probability altering abilities. So in a sense they direct and control the flow of the multiverse.

There have been at least two versions of Ultron made by Pym, so that could also be what those robots are, especially since Pym has been a member of the Illuminati in the past. Also, I don't like how people were so excited by J. K. Simmons "finally" returning as Jameson when he had played Jameson in four separate TV shows between the releases of Spider Man 3 and Far From Home

We're in a POST House of M universe where Scarlett Witch has already said, "No more mutants". This would explain where all the X-Men have been and maybe what Professor X means when he says, " We'll tell him the truth". Strange has to try and correct it. There's a part in the trailer where Dr. Strange is all blocky just like Scarlett Witch is in the House of M comic. So maybe in this movie she trys, "No more hero's." in the scene when she tells Strange if he breaks the rules he's a hero and when she does she's the villain.

Saying that a character from another universe "isn't a variant" is a bit odd. Technically every person from every timeline/universe should be considered a variant of each other. The TVA didn't consider, anyone from earth-199999 a variant, but now that the multiverse is open it's hard to argue any one reality takes precedence over any other outside of exposure.

Maybe he meant prime variations from a different Worldline should be categorically separate from MCU variants? It’s like how in Stein’s Gate they had mild divergence differences and Worldline crossing divergences. Maybe variants and primes are best grouped by the Worldline they are based in?

They could even introduce varients from the marvel animate shows that aired on Disney XD and Disney Channel. Marvel Rising already has Ms Marvel, Gwen and more characters in it. My wildest prediction is that Phineas and Ferb are gonna appear from the Phineas and Ferb/Marvel Crossover.

So, Captain Carter's shield is shown in a promotional poster, so S1E1 of What If...? will likely be drawn from. We also have teasers that show Strange rotting alive, so Zombies could tie in as well.

In the comics the illuminate isn't a multiverse group, just a group of people that represents each major player of earth to secretly get together during moments of disaster, like the skrull invasion I also think that now that the TVA is controlled by the tyrant Kang, the illuminate could have been formed as a sort of rebellion against Kang

I feel like the inconsistencies between what happened to the villains in the previous iterations, and the ones we saw in No Way Home, suggests that these are variants, and not the exact same characters from the movies

I think the greatest example that confirms this theory is how Lizard asks Electro why he’s no longer gap-toothed or wearing glasses. Electro never answers this question so it’s likely he simply didn’t understand what the Lizard meant. Also, Goblin and Doc Ock are clearly 15+ years older than their Raimi variants.
