So apparently some people are able to read that it says set of 6 in the listing. When I google translated it that didn't pop up and the description didn't say set so I assumed it meant 1.......guess I ain't relying on google translate as much anymore. Lol. Oh and I've seen some confusion so I will clarify, when I say I'm going to hand out the remaining Kenzans I have.....I don't mean sell....they will be free, I'm just figuring out how to do so at TFcon
You can still translate smaller bits and parts of the listing name at a time to get a more full-er description. Google translate does tend to skip over some things at times with longer stretches of text.
Partial JP reader here. The listing you bought says "ジャンク品" and "6セット," which is "junk goods" and "6 set," so the seller was intentionally selling the full box for dirt cheap.
It’s so weird that this was the follow up to prime. The designs are pretty cool (Especially optimus exprime) but it makes no sense to be part of prime.
I watched _Transformers: Go._ One credit I can give it without a doubt is that it runs circles around 2015 _Robots in Disguise_ being much more faithful and enjoyable add-on to the world of _Transformers: Prime._
As I understand it, it should go in season 3 and the prime movie, optimus literally appears with Casador's design, it makes no sense for it to happen in rid, although to be fair it makes no sense that anything that happens in the series is canon with prime
I like the GO combiners, I just hate that they use the getter method were each combo has a particular order and you cant just buy 3 of 1 and make a cohesive combiner
i don't wana be that guy but Kenzan has ponytail behind his head that you didn't pull out which is my favorite detail on kenzan still great video i also wish they made new version of these guys
I've got that goober, and the ninja team. and the Ex-prime. It's, a conceptually neat idea. But the execution was a huge failure. We have to remember that older experiments can fail so that future things can succeed. So these seven figures are.... a novelty, not a good novelty, but perhaps an important novelty for the future.
What even was Transformers Go? Something to add onto the pile of franchises yet to receive their due in Generations, that’s for sure. The Swordbots would be neat to see in CHUG form (with better proportions), but the Predacons would allow for redos of the toyline-only Prime Predacons since all they’d need would be a new head to be turned into their Go! counterparts. Also, I just want to see modern HasTak take a whack at Optimus Exprime just for how goofy he looks.
I have actually watched TF GO in the past 6mths or so, I enjoyed it. IMO I found it more like a cross between TF RID 2015 and the Brave Series - foremost Da Garn and Might Gaine.
Not going to lie these guys (and the other combiner team) are a guilty pleasure of mine. I know they're crap, but I kind of like them and enjoy the combination process.
And remember, theres also animal ones who do the exact same as these guys... As well as a train Optimus Prime that, at least in show, became armor for the he combined mode
Japan exclusive that aired instead of Prime’s third season in that country, similar to Headmasters replacing the Rebirth. It is generally looked down upon by the western fanbase and as far as I can tell, received a middling at best response in Japan, not helped by the fact that Prime was already a bomb in the Japanese market
@Cdr2002 Having even less paint than the US figures and missing accessories would do that. It's the only line since G1 that employed stickers as a selling point.
@@rayvenkman2087 yeah I definitely think doing sticker sheets for designs with as many specific curves and edges as Prime’s was a mistake, not to mention the lack of conventional weapons. Arms Micron figures are an interesting curiosity but I can’t imagine having them as the only non-import options for those molds and being totally satisfied outside of a few examples like Optimus, Megatron, or Breakdown where the plastic color breakup is already doing a lot. Honestly Go’s Hunter repaints were way better handled, I really want some of those
I love how according to Go it was part of the Prime universe, but in Prime they barely mention anything that happened in Go, literally Prime becomes a train and a DRAGON, literally nothing that happens in go matters in prime, and they killed a predaking.
@@Cdr2002 It's what I want to believe, but in some places they say that it is canon, because legitimately it wouldn't make sense for this to be canon in prime.
@@alejandrotello7903 its canon to the Japanese version of Prime, I don’t know why any sources would claim it’s canon to the American version of the Prime continuity
@@MrSilnev except for the fact that it was. And it is. And it’s sequel show references details from Prime repeatedly. And there’s an entire episode of Rescue Bots dedicated to explaining where Optimus was during the opening few minutes of the Nemesis Prime episode. And Blurr shows up in RID15 with a direct namedrop of Griffin Rock. And the fact that if you read literally any source on the subject it will tell you that Rescue Bots is in the Aligned Continuity.
Transformers GO, aka what happens when a show (Transformers Prime) bombs so hard it all but kills the brand in your country for a decade so you rush to fix it, only to break it even more.
I was very interested when these were announced but dreaded what the eventual product would be. Not just triple changers like regular combiner members, having bot, alt & combined forms, & all the sacrifices made for that, but to also interchangeable between 3 where any member could take any position, a la Getter Robo. Awesome concept, but ultimately impossible without cartoon magic. The version of Aquarion from Bandai is very cool, but they don't have individual bot modes to worry about, & it still has balance issues. Voltron Force where any lion could be center would've been amazing but I could never see it coming out looking any good.
I remember transformers Go! For their original characters and my favorite of all time Optimus exprime toy that I was willing to pay 50 for it because it was Optimus, transformers and bullet train all in one. I loved it so much , I just wish I could get the autobot teams to combine him with but they are to pricey now
tbf its fucking impossible to do good getter robo style transformation to begin with, adding a robbot mode was a mistake but im curious how a 3rd party would make them
