WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO SHEIK!? 

It's sad how all of voids early mains got drastically nerfed

Pretty much all Smash 4 top tiers except Fox were forgotten at the very beginning Then people realised how good Mario, ZSS and Sonic actually are Then 3.1.0 revived Diddy Kong and Rosalina, 7.0.0 revived Cloud, Sheik, and Ryu 3.1.0 and 4.0.0 attempted to revive Bayonetta and Mewtwo, but it failed Meanwhile, Marth was crying at the corner

What Sheik really needs is a tiny bit more hitstun, smash 4 knock back angles and a little bit more knockback growth on her Back air, so she kinda has a move like Bayonetta, or ZSS to close out stocks rather safely. A tiny bit more weight, wouldn't hurt. I remember that she had the exact same weight as Zelda, then got nerfed to lower weight in Smash4, kept till today. So putting her up to the same weight would already do the trick.

Void is inspiring to us sheik mains, but to guys like me who aren't at a very high level she's still very hard to win with and I do think she needs another buff

I think Sheik is a FANTASTIC CHARACTER. Comboing for ever looks really fun to do and to watch... but also really really difficult. And I don't have the time to practice a character that's this hard to play consistent with :( . Still, I hope to see more Sheik mains appear from now on, she is one of the funniest characters to watch in this game. Also, good work EE :)

I mained Sheik in 4, and didn't feel any big difference in Ultimate at first. I hope she gets better, she's such a fun character.

Imagine giving her moves a little more range, so that she could actually punish people for wrongly approaching her... I love to watch what sheik can do in capable hands, but in the end There are characters like ZSS who are just as flashy and yet much more viable.

Just got Sheik into elite smash. Void has a gift of landing those drag down up airs, I'm aware of those combos but they're alot harder to do online, you have to be like frame perfect and buffer attacks in lag. I felt forced to take a different path, and that was to learn Sheik frame data and apply it on pressuring shields with Fair, Nair, a few jabs, Dtilt, and Fsmash. To dance around shielded opponents which eventually opened them up.

I've been trying to use drag down up air more as Sheik and seeing Void flawlessly string together drag down aerials makes me feel like I'm not putting in enough work. It's like being a human watching a saiyan

It sounds like he’s reading the script for the very first time. You should dry run these scripts with someone listening to catch mistakes and make corrections. Some of the wording in the script is awkward so it’s not entirely the readers fault. This is the first time I’m hearing this person read for a video but I’ve noticed this with Keitaro too. Love the channel, it just really stood out to me this time.

I use to co main sheik in smash 4, and I played that game more reactively because that game had a ton of players with punishable habits, so sheik was perfect to punish those mistakes,Once I began to play Ultimate I wanted to main her but her punishes weren't as Strong as in smash 4 and that's why I picked up Peach. Sincerely I really want to see Sheik buffed into a top tier level cause she's a lot of fun, but once you mess up those kill confirms or just a random smash attack, it can feel really frustrating to play as her (and tbh my playstyle isn't optimal in this game with sheik, cause I tend to camp a lot with needles and Side b and do short combos mainly to Ledgetrap or set-up for an edgeguard)

I'm trying to pick up sheik and everyone says that she has no kill power but in reality she has kill power it just takes a little bit longer to kill them like sheik has to get them to 1:20 instead of 95

I can tell you what happened. The Invitational happened. People boo'ed when Plup's Ridley got Bayonetta Comboed and Sakurai saw this, he was there. He knew, he had to nerf Bayo after that. But then ZeRo won it with Sheik and people boo'ed as well. Sakurai thought, Oh they must not like Sheik as well, nerfed! But what he didn't get is, that people just didn't like the fact that ZeRo dominated Smash4 and Won that As Well... Therefore, she got even more nerfed than in Smash 4 already...

Honestly if sheik got some new tech found out up throw becoming a kill throw and smash attacks becoming stronger is good enough imo

Higher knockback growth at later percents on back air. More killpower on foward and down smashes, maybe 10-15% earlier. Slight increase in damage output for F-air, needles, F-tilt and-N-air. like 1.3-1.5 multiplier on each of these. That would be enough to propel Sheik into high tier. That's all I'm asking for Sakurai.

I honestly love playing Sheik. Maybe because I enjoy a challenging character, a win feels much better when I play as Sheik, because I had to earn that win. Idk, I dont really like joker though, even though people say hes like the better sheik. Strange

I could listen to EE narrate paint dry! But yeah, Sheik looks super fun. I wonder if it's a bit more exhausting to have to rack up the damage with a thousand little cuts. Also, I don't know how to read DI; my friends can escape my Sheik combo's super easily XD.

Tbh, I don't think they have to buff Sheik's kill power anymore (except f smash and down smash), because she now has SO MANY setups with up smash, especially after she can use needles to up smash to kill now because the needles landing lag buff. Probably the only main problem left is her damage output, so I THINK she should deal between 1.1 and 1.6 more percent on most of her moves. IF anyone is reading this then you are probably like between 1.1 and 1.6 more percent is barely even a buff to her damage output. You would be right but actually this isn't supposed to buff stray hits, it's supposed to BUFF HER COMBOS. So sweet spot fair normally does 4.5 damage, but imagine if it did an additional 1.2%, 1.3%, 1.4%, or 1.5% which would deal either 5.7%, 5.8%, 5.9%, or 6% instead of 4.5%.

A year later and Sheik still is as weak as can be. I loved her since Melee but I am done trying so damn hard while everyone else can be mediocre and win in damage, weight, and recovery. Very sad to see some characters just stagnate away while DLC comes in OP as can be

frostbite wasn’t sheik’s first significant placement lol. void performed amazingly well at mainstage with solo sheik also sheik does NOT need more damage on her combos. she already deals ~40% in true combos, buffing that would make her absolutely broken. the only changes she really needs are to fix the connecting issues of fsmash/dsmash/jab and increase the hitbox size of nair.
