So I have a little story like Nathaniel’s money. I was in seventh grade sitting in warmups for my spring concert (I play alto saxophone in concert band) and my friend Ethan (a trombone) is next to me and hands me a pack of beads and I thought hm this might be cool to have on my sax bell to make it look cool for my solo. And to this day which has been about 2 years I haven’t taken them off and they are still on my bell.
I remember back in the day, I was playing for a holiday show at my school, and there was wardrobe expectations that we were supposed to dress winter-ey, so I got on of those things that holds a bathrobe together and made it into a makeshift “scarf” for my trombone. Alfonso told me I looked like a bum that day too… good times 😌
Commenting on all y’all’s vids cuz u r the best. I’m orchestra but still Nate money cracks me up. Now I can’t watch the old videos without like thinking of the money 😂
Nathaniel not going to lie if I were you I would use the rovner I used to use a two screw ligature in my clarinet and I bought a rovner and it is just better but that’s just a recommendation
I remember at a concert, same thing happened to me with my trombone. It was the end of the concert, people were grabbing their instruments. Idiots were pushing and shoving each other. Then someone accidentally stepped on it and the bell dent.
@@NathanielSemsen since I’m in 8th grade and you are in ether in 7th or 6th I recommend a good instrument that last the whole year, if you play a woodwind instrument I recommend swapping reeds daily and having plenty of wipes to clean, and finally have a stand like on the video so no one breaks or trips on your instrument
