Lol someone who surfs and lives in Australia, the shark stat actually surprises me given how prevalent sharks are. They don't see people as a food source and most attacks are an investigative bite. I'm always keeping an eye out for "the man in the grey suit" though. Fun fact, my state has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world and the best public healthcare for cancer in the world.

1.93 meter here, but here in the North of the Netherlands people are even taller. 1.93 was the average 18 year old male's heigth a few years ago. I've worked in a factory here, heavy work, where I was in the shorter half.

I'm also from the North of the Netherlands and I can confirm, I'm 1.88 metre (around 6' 2") myself. I'm not short but a lot of guys here are a head taller than me. One of my friends is a bit over 2 metres, so over 6' 7".

The tall part of my family hails from Friesland, im tall at 199cm but my cousin is the giant at 205cm. The tallest dutch guy ive met was like 232, when he walked into the room i immediatly had the urge to compare heights but sat down as quickly as i stood up. Dutch people are historically a mix of Frisians, Franks and Saxons, and i feel like the parts of the Netherlands that are more Frisian and Saxon than Frankish have in general taller people.

Me too. Unfortunately the stat is not all good. It means people feel the need to educate themselves and are able to get it (imo many more people should be encouraged to go into the trades), but it also lowers the value of the degrees we get :(

I'm a Dutchman, 180cm tall and I'm considered to be a total pygmy in the Netherlands ( I could star in a Dutch version of Snow white and the seven dwarves), fortunately I also have familia living in Portugal. My (even smaller) brother (a pathetic and laughable 178cm) married a Portugese lady and my nephew is considered to be a giant and my 14 year old niece is literally the tallest female in town (by far) (circa 16.000 inhabitants) :)

I was waiting to hear what Trinidad & Tobago was best at. Did I doze off and miss it, or did he when making this? I'm sure a few other countries were skipped. I assume Vatican City is the most Christian country and expected S Africa to be first in diamonds but who is the current leading gold producer. The Dutch are tall people and the most multilingual country I've visited, at least in the cities.

Watching from the Netherlands, I'm 6'3 (192 cm) :) Another interesting fact about the Netherlands is that we have the highest bike to population rank in the world. There are about 18 million people who own a total of about 23 million bikes Also, we might just be the country where people complain about the weather the most Suriname is a Dutch speaking country. It's roughly pronounced Su-ri-nah-muh (check Google Translate on Dutch for the proper pronunciation)

As a person from Austria, we have also relatively often been the country with the happiest people and Vienna (the capital city) has often been voted the city with highest living quality. Austria is really a beautiful place with awesome culture and the austrian dialect has a lot of character to it, which is really cool in my mind. I am glad to be an Austrian, even if i think that patriotism is kinda whack. I don't really feel the need to be proud of my country or government, but the people and the culture is nice.

3:20 seems misleading and possibly outdated. The highest personal tax BRACKET in Belgium seems to be 50% at the moment, but that means that 50% of your income past the bracket threshhold (which is far higher than the average salary) is taxed - not 50% of your entire income. The average belgian with an average income would be taxed around 30% total.

Swedish parental leave needs a revision: Upon the birth of a child, each parent receives parental allowance for 240 days, a total of 480 days. 90 of these 240 days are reserved for each parent, the other days the parents can leave to each other. A person who is the sole guardian is entitled to all 480 days of parental allowance.

Kenya being the largest producer of black tea is crazy to me since i wouldve assumed India (Assam, Darjeeling = East Frisian Tea), Sri Lanka (Ceylon = English Breakfast) and China (Yunnan, Pu'er) to be the largest producers of black tea. Japan probably being the largest producer of green tea.

Maybe not for long, post secondary education makes a statistically significant part of the country's GDP by bringing in rich students from abroad. But rising prices like in the US, along with rising interest rates can put some education out of reach for the average Canadian without the assistance of bursaries and scholarships.

This must be pretty outdated. New Zealand has nowhere near that amount of sheep anymore. Most sheep farms have been changed to Dairy, Kiwifruit plantations or forestry. Currently, dairy products are our biggest export

I don't know how they collected their data, but New Zealand as an example in 2018 had 3 wins (so would be a tie in Rugby Sevens between Fiji and New Zealand before the New Zealand win in 2018). I'm guessing for most of the information they've gathered was just a glance at some stats and make it up as they go along. For it to be only Fiji at 2 wins, that would be 2005. So....?

We love soccer, but don't think it shoud be at the top. We bring another interesting caracteristics to be shown. About the Italian song you recommended, somehow the artist's name is incorrect there, should be Adriano Celentano (with an N between E-T) A hit song of him was 'Azzurro' and he has a funny song called 'prisencolinensinainciusol' where he sings in a gibberish American accent to show what English sounds like to people who don't understand it. It also tricked those people into believing that he could actually speak English. He also starred in a bunch of hilarious classic Italian movies.

26 mega *bytes* per second is a very weird metric for South Korea given that internet speed is measured in mega *bits* per second. 8 bits go in one byte so assuming that they merely used the wrong metric, but the numbers are correct, it would equate to 208 megabits per second.

yeah what is said about Indonesia that the average person is short is true. My height is 170cm (5.5feet) in a group of my friends, the average is around 165cm, those born in the 90's and those born in the 00's are 160cm, on average there are some who are 175-180cm, around 3/10 people but outside of my circle of friends the average is 150-165cm
