The real question is why was the dad even going in his room in the first place? He walked in, got gum stuck on to him, lectured him about the gum, then walked out. Like what was the original reason?
Your parents never did that? My parents would walk into my room for any reason, get distracted by seeing something they don't like, and then forget why they walked in the first place

Yea, there used to be lots of random humor, back when you could upload literally *anything,* but these days, it’s different. Sure some stuff we had back them felt like brainrot, but there’s one thing today’s doesn't have that back then did: nostalgia
Johnny test is my child. I watched it with my old friend together after school , and she just passed away from covid this pandemic , it hits me so much :(

The only bits I really enjoyed (and still enjoy, despite the rest of the show being a forgotten stain) are the ones involving Mr. Black and Mr. White. The rest, like I said, is better forgotten.
I remember there once was a commercial which was just a supercut of a bunch of different times they used the whipcrack. They not only knew how often they used it, they were proud of it.
There were about 135 whipcracks in this, (i counted) and there are 190 in a single Johnny Test episode. This is what it would sound like if Johnny Test put 71% of one episode’s whipcracks into 24 seconds.
I remember watched YourBudTevin do a drinking game about Johnny Test, one of the rules was "Drink for every Whip Crack sound effect" and MAN that man was dying inside and out

Even with the whipcracks, the lack of humor is clear to see. The interaction literally just boils downs to "I love gum" "stop chewing gum" "no" "no more gum."
Honestly true. The only reason I find this funny is because this guy ain’t wrong. This is actually the show. It’s like Phineas and Ferb (Same format every episode) except Phineas and Ferb did it RIGHT. Still one of my favorite shows to THIS DAY
I'm nostalgic for it, but man is it terrible. Johnny is a soulless amalgam of Calvin, Bart Simpson, Dexter, and Dennis the Menace, and Dukey is like Hobbes without the humor
sometimes i like to go back and watch shows that i watched as a kid just to relive the memories, but i can’t sit through 5 minutes of johnny test as an adult😭
