A Spinnin’ Records artists said “If your mix is 70% decent it’s passable for labels or streaming sites” If they decide to publish your track they’ll request the stems and have their engineers master it to their standards. That being said be more of a cook than a scientist.
I would love more videos highlighting the SD water boys! Their sounds (ISOxo, knock2, frosttop, Juelz, Aleko) are really influencing what I want to make but from a beginner perspective it seems very technical. These videos have really helped.
Learning to let go was my hardest problem. Sometimes there is a few versions of perfect and you just need to let go. As always love your videos my man!
I’d be over the moon if you could record the entire process making a Juelz style track from start to finish. I’m making the transition from trap beats to EDM songs and I can never understand what sounds I’m actually hearing as I’m used to using traditional instruments / chord progressions if that makes sense.
Love the get it out decent sounding and fix later mentality. You get more music out that way and I think learn more. Keep it up! Also please consider doing a tutorial for Tipper or Peking Duk😊
Youve really been the absolute best teacher for producing for me :') previously, every time i opened Ableton i just wanted to cry and run away 😅 i appreciate you so much 😭 Any possibility you can make a Jai Wolf inspired vid? Or do you have one thats similar?
I wish u sustained the 808’s sub, the 808 sounds dope as is but I feel like it would be even cooler if the sub carries on playing into the next bass shot instead of it sounding like a one shot. Cuz u got the sub hitting and then it go away until the next one gets played and it does the same thing. Hopefully that makes sense lol, just a lil suggestion again still sounding dope as is
what im trynna say is......... I want to be isoxo. thanks ash, even tho Im an fl user ive been able to learn alot from you, its always kinda felt like this sound/styles have been gate kept, or im just stupid, either way, you've helped me understand alot more about how harder style arrangements work and so much more. I appreciate you and wish you the best my dude. Is there anything I can follow, like, add to playlist music wise that you aren't advertising on yt? throw a link in the reply if you have the time, Id be happy to check more of what you want to push musically.
sorry for being the asshole, but ISO didn't mix Skrillex's album, he only helped in the mix on Good Space, he has nothing to do with the other 14 tracks.
