The white tip is a ceramic tip that heats up to 50° C for 3 or 6 seconds. We use similar device (still with metal tip) since decades.

I just got back from Samoa and it was open season. This helped a lot! Sure the heat sucks, but the two seconds of pain was worth the relief.

Ive been using hot water from the tap for years to stop mosquito bite itching. Sounds like it works the same.

It works fairly well for me. The kids (10 & 11) sometimes agree to use it. Hurts quite a bit for them.

Instructions for device say that if the heat is too intense to move it in a circular motion around the bug bite.

I have a different brand but it does the same thing. It also hurts but it's like you never were bitten. You won't even feel the bite anymore.

Submerge a nail in boiling water and put the nailhead on the bite. Let the water cool down a bit if it’s too hot. You are welcome.

i hope it hurts i hope it burns my skin. i got these black little MF'ers dont know what they are called, why they are here but i get about 10-15+ bites per day and im slowly going crazy. add to it the mosquitos too and its just NICE. they bite in groups and its just everywhere. looking at my 1 hand alone i can find like 12 bites at least. this better work! will arrive in a week or so
