@@ariefraiser140nah he was definitely pissed with Wiggins and KAT 😂 he said himself after losing a game he'd go straight to the gym to work out and get shots up, the whole time Wiggins and KAT were either staying up late playing Fortnite or at a night club
@@markestevenfederis1614 They weren’t going to win anything with Butler either. Not a prime destination, so they primarily build through the draft and players recruiting other players. At least now, they have players to develop instead of sitting in the middle of the first round over and over again.
@@BAL_productions I’m not knocking the guy, but he wasn’t going to do that on the Wolves. He’s the third option here behind THE GUY that most opens up the floor for teammates.
Here’s a few more things - According to Jeff Teague 1. Jimmy was not in his practice uniform, he was in his sweats for the first game. 2. Jimmy played two games that day, one against the starters, one against the second unit. He and the third stringers beat both teams 3. Jimmy was specifically calling out KAT and the GM saying they were trash and he needs to be paid. 4. In the second game against the second unit, Jimmy revealed his practice Uni that was under his sweats, he had cut out the “Minnesota” in all parts of his uniform. 5. Before practice was over, he showered and left a good hour or two before they finished. When the players got to the locker room, Jimmy was doing the Rachel Nichols interview. 6. Jimmy set the interview up prior to the practice, knowing that he would dominate the team with the third stringers 7. Jeff Teague was sincere in saying that the Timberwolves did in fact get dominated by Jimmy Butler and a team of G leaguers, some who didn’t even make the team. 8. The first two plays of the game, the Ball went to KAT, Jimmy stole it both times. Again, this is all according to Jeff Teague. Edit: Source in comments
@@richo.4584 When The Jump discussed it while the information was still coming out, one of the guys on there had the cheekiest grin and he started with "I heard..." and all 3 of them got the silliest smiles. It was probably my favorite sport reporting moments in history
They didn’t wanna pay him so he showed them how much they actually needed him and when your star player leads your 3rd options to victory over your front line that’s pretty symbolistic
Yes I remember this clearly. I’m (as a die hard Philly fan) still thoroughly ticked off we didn’t fight to keep him. As soon as they let him go I knew we screwed up
Ppl need to put some respect on this man’s name! He been a beast for a while now and doesn’t get the superstar treatment that others get, even tho he is one as well
