Like it matters with the absolutely clear advantage the fuel version has. Wouldn’t of made much difference. You state that with a chance the non fuel has even a potential equality.
Before I had my brushless non Fuel Milwaukee tools, I had no tools, so I’m just as happy to have what I have. No matter what ya got, be grateful. If it does the job, you have a great tool.
Love Milwaukee FUEL series..the difference between fuel and non-fuel seems to be in the motor control. Brushless are just essentially 3 phase ac motors running on a bat pack and using a solid state phase converter. cheaper brands have cheap controllers and less power. example: both Milwaukee and harbor freight use Samsung 18650 battery paks. The new HO series use Samsung 21700-much higher power. But the controllers and current limiters actually allow FUEL to actually use power without burning up. the “Power-state” motors maximize load angle and control SIN frequency of tool. Great technology.
This version of Vince didn't come out quite right, there's no voice box preloaded with "I will say this" ... I'd try to get a refund if still possible 😂
Best video yet.... Nick is a natural, maybe not as much of a character as Vince but an excellent addition to the team.... Keep'em coming fellas and dont get to serious, there's enough uptight reviews out there.
I just bought my first Milwaukee tool in about 30 years. The Fuel Framing nailer. I was skeptical. But after framing a 40'x68'x16' high shop, in freezing weather...and not one single problem with the gun...I'm impressed.
I used to have the basic non-fuel tools when I was starting out. They really are better for more DIY weekend warrior projects than for professional use. Besides the obvious power difference, they drained batteries faster and would get very hot very quickly. I eventually made the switch to the FUEL line of tools and never looked back.
I worked for Acklands Grainger here in Canada for 30yrs before I retired. I bought the very first FUEL 12v drill before we had stock to sell. I have had a well equipped woodwork shop for about 40yrs. This was about 10yrs ago. I have the FUEL 12v impact driver as well and all of the batteries as well as the tools work pretty much like the day I bought them. I think it likely that brushless motors will replace all the old brush motor tools eventually.
Just got my first Milwaukee set of cordless tools. Not fuel, but do like them so far. Had some older porter cable, the Milwaukee do seem to run better. Of course the others are about 15 years older. Like your live streams and comparisons.
Another super job, I only subscribe to two channels on you tube, yours being one. Definitely a wise choice on my behalf. I have watched all your videos and find them very informative and they have assisted me in making my purchases in regards to your testing. As always keep up the good work, and Nick, what did you do put a muzzle on Vince, lol, just kidding, you both handle the spotlight very well!
Find Ultimate Energy Level? Feels kind of forced. But the performance is VERY impressive. And they are much quieter than my DeWalt impact drivers. Great job fellas.
I think this video was professionally done, not that Vince isnt the pro!, but I also thought. Man, these boys are changing the game. And if, you like the game changer, then please SMASH THE LIKE BUTTON SASS YOU GUYS ROCK. VINCE, U DID AN AWESOME PREFORMANCE OF DEMONSTRATIONS. YOU SHOULD SIGN FOR MILWAUKEE DISPLAY SHOWCASER. LOVE YA MAN! MISS YALLS LIVE CHATS. SEE YA ON THE NEXT ONE!
Interestingly, I find it cool to know that now. For the longest time when I worked for a plumber, he had Milwaukee Fuel tools and I never knew what the term FUEL for that kind of tool meant. It kind of does make a little bit of sense though if you think about it.
I swear to god I've always said Vince is the funniest guy to watch. I was wrong and stand corrected. Quiet Vince is fkn hilarious. I just lmfao and you did nothing. Lol. Good stuff!
I needed these explanations. thank you.......at the same time i have to mention that Vince face was saying :" Dont look at me, I wont talk.......even though I wanted I will keep my mouth shut" hahaha
Great vid. Didn’t know what FUEL meant. Now I do. Mini Vince (Nick) did a great job. Vince is still the master though. How did you keep Vince quiet, that’s what I’d like to know.
Wow iceman true professionalism from Vince way to let the guy in front of the camera do the talking. Also Vince didn’t breech the test parameters, even though the performance of the fuel hackzall was noticeably better, the young buck could help jumpin in and two handin it. Still can’t believe the silent self control of Vince on this one.
I have that impact and I said I’d buy it if it could spin the lugs off of my Peterbilt. Zips them off like they weren’t tight. Totally freakish. My buddies DeWalt struggled and he finally gave up because he was afraid of burning his new tool up. I’m running the Fuel and the 12 battery. No longer horsing around that massive 1” air impact. That was the bad Ole’ days.
Thanks for the comparisons. However, the hacksaw test was not a fair test because the non-fuel's cutline went straight through (halfway through) a knot!
