one of the few videos that distinguishes between hot and humid, and hot and dry conditions.

If you want a synthetic tee without the odor retention problem, I recommend Uniqlo Airism. My habitat is generally hot and humid and it is the thinnest and most breathable of all tees I’ve tried, and I wear it as part of my personal uniform system. Merino wool tees are a close second, but they cost 5-10x more and underperforms Airisms in heat dissipation and sweat wicking. I also like the cut of Airisms more, because it is fitted but stretchy while draping nicely. The only con is it’s so thin that when you perspire extremely heavily, the shirt will not retain its shape and will instead cling to your body - not an issue for me personally since I am lean and somewhat muscular, but might not work for an overweight person. A quick once over with a towel though and the shirt is completely dry within a minute even under high humidity, and will drape nicely once more.

Uniqlo Airism is a 90% polyester / 10% spandex blend (in this case the branded Lycra). most fabrics loose their shape when getting wet, the only exception i know is cotton. using a towel to quickly dry your shirt is something I didnt think of - thanks for that! will try drying my thin nylon tshirts here and there now when its getting really hot.

Do you prefer a piece with a nice techwear-ish cut but with a fabric that doesn't fit to your situation? Or du you prefer a piece with a functional fabric but woíthout the "techwear style"? Is there a techwear style after all? nice video, after all - thanks for keeping this up!

Great vid! Agree with the smell topic 100%. One improvement suggestion: please lower or turn off the background music, was too much in the foreground for my likings. Otherwise great and thanks for giving me new information!

I agree. I would like to hear something lower volume and not so high pitched. Maybe some smooth Jazz or electronica.

I would love to gear your opinion on the anti-UV coating that you can wash into your clothes. Does it work? Is it BS?

I know it's been years so you probably won't do it but I always want to hear about pants to keep cool in the summer and techwear pants for the summer would be amazing.
