Right, but they must have a reason for even implementing it back into high school. They wouldn’t do it if you’re not going to the military and back in the days getting athletic people is part of military it’s basically like a national calling. Same with people back in ancient times they did it because it was necessary not because they want to.
I'm in middle school and kids are getting tired from 1 ROUND of the pacer test. We really need to bring this stuff back into our schools. Even in middle school, and if we're feeling cruel maybe 5th grade too.
Hey Browney, you and Arjen (and probably Jorg also) should do David Goggins' 100 mile run Rest is allowed of course because i don't want to see any of you die from this challenge. But it must be done continuously, so you don't have rest by doing 1 mile this day and another mile the next day
That 1950’s calf machine I’m pretty sure was still in use at my first gym in the 90s. My first trainer completely pushed it as a worthwhile use of my time.
I’m a 13 almost 14 yr old girl that rlly likes to work out and do calisthenics, and in health class we are obviously not doing what HS’s back then is but we are starting to do stuff similar, easy tests like seeing how many push-ups in 1 minute, sit-ups and stuff like that, and at the end we’re gonna be testing body fat (i’m pretty sure, i might have heard wrong from my teacher but yeah) i wish we did more of this stuff especially bc a lot of people actually enjoy working out and could actually use the help to try and get more in shape. have a good day y’all and stay safe
back when i was in high school we had heaps of options for sport and fitness classes but as a 15 year old i remember enjoying it and also hating it. it would be amazing to see everyone do this now but lets be real we'd all complain lol but wow that's amazing
Hi browney. I have a video suggestion. You And guy in the blue shirt try different foods from around the world. Trying to find the best foods to eat for fitness and or health. And it'll be entertaining to watch you eat some foreign foods. Much love for your content💪
It's crazy how disciplined the kids from the videos are. Nowadays, this would not look the same. Some people would definitely do it as seriously as the kids on here, but most would not. People would complain, refuse to do it, cheat, not try hard etc. It's a shame.
It all makes sense really. In the 30s and earlier people walked 3, 5, and even more miles daily very commonly. In the 60's every school has the horse gymnastics thing
It is impressive how fit all the teens are in the video from the 60s, however, they were unfortunately being trained to fight in war. Otherwise, they wouldn't be that fit.
