Surprised Bo didn't know this but, Georgia and Bama are in different divisions (SEC East and West respectively). There just weren't enough games to allow them to play each other every year considering they each already have a cross division rival that they play every year (Bama plays Tennessee and Georgia plays Auburn). The other cross division games were simply on a rotating schedule... at least that has always been my understanding...RTR!

Hollywood Williams is the truth. I'm from the Mobile area Prichard to be exact. He's has greatness all over him. Out of all the great players that have come from the state this dude won Mr. Football for the state of Alabama 2 years in a row, as a sophomore and junior, no senior year. Never been done before.

I kinda think we should of kept the divisions, it was another thing that made the SEC different. But without the division i think we have UGA every other year on the regular schedule now?

When the SEC goes to a 9-game conference schedule, we may see them every other year. As of now, I don't think it'll be the case.

As long as each team stays within the top 12 that means that the teams can loose two games and not win the SEC title and still make the playoffs for a shot at redemption.

The AP top 25 poll has no bearing on the 12 playoff teams selected anymore. The 13 person committee will decide the at large bids. The 4 major conference champions, SEC, B1G, ACC, Big12, will account for the top 4 spots. Then, as long as Notre Dame isn’t just awful and doesn’t end up with more than 2 losses, they likely get handed the 5 spot, just because they don’t have to play a conference championship. The rest are going to be handed out to some amalgamation of the committees highest ranked remaining power 4 non champions & group of 5 teams. If there are no group of 5 teams ranked higher by the committee, than the power 4 non champions, then there won’t be any G5 teams. If there is a higher ranked G5 than any of the P4 non champions, then they will get one of the at large bids.

The reason it’s becoming sparingly is because of the edition of A&M and Mizzou with Bama and UGA being in opposite brackets before it was 5 to 7 years there was a home and home

This new format doesn't benefit Georgia at all. They have to actually play teams during the regular season instead of weak side of SEC conference. BAMA on the other hand has been playing LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss every year..

Well, his ceiling is HUGE. He is a gazelle who is improving. He is not a finished product. Why go for ssafe when what seperates an NFL team is an eraser of mistakes. He doesnt throw picks and he can stress a defense. Carson Beck is a conventional QB who needs elite around him. He is NOTHING special.

ESPN is definitely the winner of the playoffs. Expansion just guatenteed 2-3 SEC schools were getting in. But yall dont really understand SEC football. We name drop Georgia in our fight song! Theres a long history there that was avoided so we could have a family reunion in Atlanta 🤭 You know someone taught Williams the dirty bird 😂 is it surprising these players or their dads are Falcon fans?
