My school has a gourmet menu too. Papa johns pizza on Friday, choice lunch tasteless pasta daily, halfway cooked burgers/hot dogs, and cereal Doesn’t get any better than that

It doesn't really get better than this, it might get fancier but the food quality and the needed nutrition is there for even not to successful teams, which is good. The fact that they don't have to cook their food is freaking amazing already, cooking, cleaning and preparing 4k calories a day will take hours of your time a day, not to mention grocery shopping, counting macros and etc. It takes even more time if you try making the food taste good. Being able to just train and then have everything ready for recovery is way too underestimated by everyone.

One of the greatest things about being a NFL player is the food. Think about it. Your meals are being cooked by an executive chef. They are designed to taste really good, but to also assist in recovery and to cut down on body inflammation that is so common in football due to all of the hits you take. It's like the perfect combo. The food is almost all organic and hormone free. It's like a dream come true if you love food. Plus, you're burning a ton of calories, so you can eat a ton.

What a trainwreck of an organization, but that chef looks to be cooking some good stuff, got me hungry.

That’s what hard work gets you.

As a trained chef, it's nice to see these chefs getting appreciated for their job. Nobody can imagine how hard some of us work and how much you need to know to make good and healthy food for hundreds of people. Still it's the best job in the world because it just never gets boring and the team spirit is just one of a kind.

Looks like that chef was the only good decision that organization has made for quite some time lol

This is what my lunch team had this week -turkey sandwich -chicken and cheese wrap -McDonald’s sausage sandwich -Pb&J

This was over 15 years ago - but at a Hotel I worked at I saw a breakfast served to a NFL team staying there to play the hometown team and the breakfast served before the big game - besides the morning staples they had pasta, fried and bake chicken - steak - a ton of food.

I’ve had the pleasure once of hanging out with the Carolina Panthers in 2008 before their game against the Cardinals. The morning of the game I was giving a “meal” by one of the players that wasn’t hungry....FIRE! Food was amazing. These guys really do take their craft seriously and are underrated parts of these teams. Keep it up
