A thing rdr2 really nailed was making the open world feel dangerous. In gta 5 you can walk around anywhere at night and not feel threatened. Going out in a city at night can be dangerous some times, it would be cool for them to up the threat a bit when in the open world.
Yea, the swamps were quite dangerous at night. The murfree brood near the north east deadly too. They even dig holes/traps for you to fall in & that was quite unexpected 😮😅
Much like the jump from RDR1 to RDR2, I’m praying GTA6 slows GTA5’s gameplay down a bit and replaces the arcade-ish mechanics with more immersive ones.
it should do, its using RDR2 as more of a foundation from the leaked gameplay we saw the movement was slower and looked like it was almost lifted from RDR2, it had the two weapon system like RDR2 had
A few years back rockstar created some new patents for ai and pedestrians, environments and how they can populate more things on screen at one time. You should do a deep dive on those patents. That should give you a huge insight on what gta6 will be able to do!
If GTA 6 can learn one thing from RDR2 is more variation in activity. RDR2 had so much going on around you all the time, whether it was wildlife, random events with NPCs, or getting mugged by gangs.. It just felt so alive. You cannot travel in that game for more than a few minutes without seeing some kind of activity you can partake in or something interesting you can explore. That’s what GTA 5 was missing. And GTA 6 has all the capacity and potential to build upon the foundation RDR2 laid out. If they follow in the spirit of that game, GTA 6 will have one of the greatest story modes of all time
100%. Every open world I’ve played after rdr2 felt dead or lackluster. Also the side missions in rdr2 is what makes it to me. No fetch side quest, no tailing or clear enemies.
This is facts and what added more to the effect was how organically everything flowed.. it didn’t feel like the world was a theme park with traps and animations triggered by your presence.
slow walk makes it more easier for console players because especially in a house, it's really easy to just jump and run into objects and walls. But if it's an outdoor camp then we dont need it@@raven99999
The most impressive thing about RDR2 to me was how alive the world felt. You felt like just another man in a moving, changing environment. Makes so many other games look mid by comparison
We underestimate Rockstar every time. You are correct, RDR2 is hard to beat by ANYONES standards. Rockstar always outdoes themselves. When GTA VI comes out, all other companies will lose many investors because other games simply can’t keep up. Rockstar lost 4% investors just hearing rumors of delay (proven not true). Their aim is Q1 2025 but it likely got pushed back to Q3 instead
Learn from RDR2 with exploration and living breathing world with great NPC interaction. Learn from maxpayne 3 gunplay and the warriers Hand to hand combat Learn from Stealth in Manhunt and let us use distractions to lure enemies and envirmental take downs like Manhunt 2. Also build some features from San andreas.
You did our Lucia and Arthur dirty 😂😂 Arthur is a sober man we can't imagine him like this with other man's partner. We don't know much about Lucia yet but she will also have some unique characteristics that we will fall in love with her too.
I’d love it if you had all of the NPC interaction choices like in RDR2. The compliment, diss, and rob options were great for allowing you to play how you want
The thing is, no matter what we wish or speculate on, everything in GTA 6 has probably already been finished and they're spending this final year polishing and adding minor details. Unless they have a plan post-launch with extra DLC, their main game and story has already been set. Since this thing has been in development for the past decade
My only curiosity is will GTA 6 will lean on satire and fun part more like previous games or real and gritty like RDR 2. A rdr type GTA 6 will be fresh and new experience
Hopefully, the missions in GTA 6 aren't overly strict with the way players can complete them as it was in RDR2 or feature an unkillable-til-the-very-end twist villain like Micah
Well, he's an important character to the story, it makes sense that you couldn't kill him at any time. That's how games work. Wouldn't want to anyways, not until the final showdown.
@@Paradyze9800And its terrible police system. Both in GTA 5 and RDR2. Its one thing they mostly shoot on sight, its another thry instantly appear in mere seconds in secluded remote areas.
@@DeadlyBeast205no he said that they should keep some updates for the game and that they must not handle GTA 6 like they did for RDR 2 in terms of DLC etc... and this is true, releasing Undead Nightmare on RDR2 could have been a masterpiece
Some parts of RDR2 was excellent, like the story mode or the graphics and how wellmade the world was but it was a rather boring game, not much action and absolutely no updates that kept the game interesting for online players.@@DeadlyBeast205
Gta5 online was rough the first couple days. And we got it 2 weeks after release. Aint no way rockstar gonna wait 6 months to a year to release online thats there bread and butter
One CRAZY thing me and my pal speculated: GTA 6 will have its own social media platform. A fake twitter or tik tok. But real people can populate the service with content via shared connectivity. So you can record videos on your in-game phone, upload them to in-game tik tok/youtube and go real life viral on an in-game platform. Imagine all the content creation in-game? They could take all that youtube revenue away from google.
What we need in GTA6: -Buying Phones -Grapplinghook -Hurricane -Gang territoires -Buying cheaper stuffs from other Online Players (Cars, Clubs, Yacht etc..) -E-scooter and skateboard and Surfing -a mission going to space (because Florida = NASA) -Honor System like RDR
As long as they don't abandon the game after release they game will be OK. But they did it dirty and kept adding content to GTA 5 and no focus to red dead at all
We noticed that in the trailer they use a longer zoom lense which helps make the world feel much bigger. Kinda like how we use the camera in red dead 2
Weather definitely considering the game is taking place in Vice City “Miami, Florida”. Some of the most bipolar weather I’ve seen in my entire life right there.
Comparing gta6 with rdr2 is like comparing rdr2 with gta5. People forget gta5 is a ps3/360 game and will be 11yrs old while rdr2 will be 6 yrs old. We can't imagine what gta6 will be like
6 months to a year for the next Online part? Nah that ain't happening. GTA5 takes roughly 40 hours main story 85 hours to 100%. Unless GTA6 is 70 hours story and maybe about 100 hours to 100% u won't have enough content for single player alone
Ease up on the RDR2 overly complicated button clicking, holding, menu scrolling, endless selecting, pausing the whole game to take out a revolver, multi multi multi health status, status, status, A health, B health, C health, menus, menus, menus, selecting, pausing the game to do anything, positioning the character just so to carry out the simplest of tasks, forced to watch animation processes, every time, every time...
Rdr2 is amazing but its fans are some of the most brain dead in the gaming atmosphere. Its far from the greatest video game ever made. There is Bloodborne, Elden Ring, Sekiro, Witcher 3 that are gameplay heavy video games and they beat rdr2.
RDR2 has a much more alive and reactive world then Witcher 3 its also far more alive then Elden ring. The horse riding at Physics are better then Witcher3. Bloodbroune Is amazing but it is different no game is really the greatest game. But as Open worlds go and story driven games go its one best games of all time in these areas
I’m hoping for more realism in this one. I’m talking fuel in cars, cores like in rdr2 for stamina and health, manual transmission vehicles and a city that feels like you can go anywhere and do anything, from robberies to car meets/races.
Hopefully the animal system is as in depth as it is in Red Dead 2, perhaps with an extra focus on fishing considering the aquatic elements that are featured to prominently.
My expectations are sky rocketed for gta 6 after playing rdr 2......Rockstar have already crossed limits in gaming industry with gta 5 and then with rdr 2....I can't imagine what they are going to do with gta 6....
Im hoping in the GTA online you could create like a full creation of the character like from body shape muscles scars and all that 💯💯 or you could go to gym workout have different fight styles
