@@Space6Ghost6Killa6so could i but that’s not the point of being a legend. What this guy has done on youtube to help out aspiring guitarists while actually being good enough to put out music that makes money and pays for live shows is pretty legendary.
Serious response: Probably an internal naming format where some sections of the name mean different things similar to what car manufacturer's do with engine and drivetrain configurations. Other response: They're on drugs.
I'd be all like: "Damn, this room sounds like ass.." "Check out the eyes on the redhead in the third row!" "Play a Gibson Ripper with your sciatica, Wil they said. It will be fun, they said!" "Oh GODDAMMIT I fudged that whole breakdown!"
Hmmm. I think most guitarists would think: *Oh yeah, I'm awesome! On stage again baby!* *Ok, ok, ok, don't crap the first solo like at the last concert...* *Oh, man. I hope I am doing this right, I don't wanna get embarrassed again...* *That was GOOD. I'm glad that improvisation worked* *Ok, the show's almost over, don't mess up now.. oh... oh noooooo*
Usually my thoughts are like "bom bom bom bom, bom bom bom bom bom bom, brbrbrbrbr, brbrbrbrbr, belolololololo, brbrbrbrbr, uhhh yeah I'll go for the pinch harmonic, bom bom bom bom"
Generally my thoughts are literally what I want to play but like half a second ahead of what I’m actually playing. Occasionally I think “oops”, somewhat less commonly “hell yes I nailed that”, and very rarely the “oops” is followed by “I have no idea what I just did but it was epic”. Oh yes, and of course there’s the perennial “Please god let the drummer know this section ends here.”
What a great idea for a performance, this makes me want to attend! Seems like a blast with your comedy in it. My helmet would say “oh god please no not this section”
It would have probably been more realistic if it was smth like that: [Oh sht how could i fck this up? whatever nobody noticed anyway.] *Focusing... [I wish i would have had on more drink before this.] *focusing: [Sht whatever]
mine would be " i cant believe that asshole the other day what was his problem?" "fingers are like...legs for your hand" "i wonder if... oh shit focus my bad"
I've never seen a person who has had this great deal of experience with his own guitar ....I think he will have his works, immortalized for all of us to go to and be able to get in touch with the people who have the best experience and knowledge of how to become successful in the business of musicology and be a better musician thanks mr.bernth..god blessyou successful in making it happen for all the great
WRONG.. the only ibanez I’ve ever had was called an saqmt7.. it stands for something something quilted maple top.. something.. it was a 6 string.. 😂🤦♂️🤘
Mine: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAoh that was clean oh fuck i messed up fuck fuck fuck remeber that one time you spent hours trying to figure out why your guitar wouldnt play and the amp just wasnt turned on no FOCUS AAAAAAAAAAAAA and its done
Actually this is accurate except the thoughts are more of a flash and for me there’s anywhere from 20- 20,000 different thoughts going on simultaneously. Welcome to ADHD for performers.😂 “Holy shit I actually got that right… ok how am I playing this but Holy Diver is also playing in my head…. That last episode of South Park was legit funny- ohh that’s an A#… butters might be my fav- Damnit I left my front door unlocked… should I get another AR? Oh shit here’s that breakdown the drummer loves but I can’t stand… I should def get another AR.”
I tend to think ln visuals when I do my best playing. Oh my best composition was played near flawlessly while I was imagining tree sap… oddly enough, it was a fast and rapid composition, but… meh. Haven’t played in a while though.
Showing the active part of the brain is such a cool idea, you can see what part is memory, when fine motor control is in overdrive etc. The text is just made up I assume, we don't have the ability to translate brainwaves into text afaik.
I learned some things about imaging procedures and their potential use for Psychology during my studying time. I think it's actually amazing that you can detect which regions are working during an EEG, although this is of course not a normal situation so you also won't get normal results. By the way, an EEG shows the electrical potential when enough neurons in an area share important information. Could be a cool idea for a song ;)
