what happened at MusicalCon day 2 | the UK's first musical theatre fan convention ft west end shows 

It was so lovely to meet you and I am actually super excited that I spotted myself in the crowd as the doors opened

I would love an In the Heights revival here on the west end, however only if they actually cast Latin actors

Is anyone else intrigued to know why under 16s had to leave the building?! 😂

It's so bizarre to see the Excel hosting a convention for just musicals fans - I was one of the first musical cosplayers turning up to MCM Comic Con at that venue, years ago, and the thought that there might be a whole convention just for us? Total daydream. Didn't make it this year, but hopefully will make it next year... and hopefully they put it slightly earlier in the year, one week before Comic Con in the same venue reduced their audience by a chunk. Anyone travelling to London had to choose between Musical Con, or the established, massive social event of Comic Con this weekend.

It was amazing meeting you at the press night of 'My sons a queer but what can you do' sorry I didn't say much I was totally star struck but it was incredible seeing you!! Also it was a great show and I'm glad your recommendation drew me to see it

I saw ads for this and was worried it would be dreadful (other comic/sci-fi cons at the same location have been shocking) so decided to wait and see. It's seems sooooo amazing and well organised! One of my favourite parts of cons is the independent artists selling their creations and the workshops and performances looked incredibly fun! Thanks for sharing. I'll start prepping my cosplay for next year! 🎶
