What Happened The Last Days Of ANDRE THE GIANT?

She's a treasure and such a good friend of Andre . Her work to keep his memory alive in his home town with her tiny museum is so special. Thanks for sharing Jordan, it means alot to his fans.

My Father was a ticket agent for Braniff Airlines way back then and Andre came up to his line. He gave my Dad his ticket information and my Dad saw his tiny hand next to Andres massive hand. To this day my Dad still talks about that experience and how huge but so nice Andre was.

Andre was one of my favorites when I followed wrestling.I don’t anymore.Seems like all the good ones have gone but they gave me many happy memories.😊

Nice! Thanks for sharing. Back in the 1980's I encountered Andre at Laguardia Airport in NYC as he got off a flight. He strode off the plane carrying a small overnight bag and just lumbered along. No one bothered him and I couldn't believe how massive he was!

Together with Hulk Hogan and Jake the Snake he was the only wrestler that people in Europe knew of when they didn’t follow wrestling. Over here football (soccer), tennis and cycling is huge and wrestling isn’t, but those three were KNOWN! ;) Come to think of it….I also remember The Undertaker? What baffles me after religiously watching all your vids is that Macho Man should have been among those guys since he was apparently huge! That’s why I like this channel, I learn a lot about American pop culture. ❤

I'm glad you're a fan of that generation of wrestling. It spurred me to go back and enjoy it as an adult.

Seen him one afternoon outside the Boston Garden. I'm 6 foot 3 and he made me look like a little kid. Very nice guy and he answered questions. A true wrestling legend.

Thanks Jordan! I was an Andre fan. When he sat on Hulk Hogan’s chest in the ring I couldn’t believe how Hogan survived! That was an epic match! Wrestling now is not as good as then, in my opinion, but there are still millions of fans. ❤❤❤

André used to drink coffee with my dad almost daily at a little diner in the hotel up the street from where we lived. I met him and saw him there several times. It was around the mid 70s.

I worked with a woman named Adele Arnold ( married name) she was related to Andre and had such wonderful dories about him, sure wish I could have meet him he sounds like such a great guy; so sad how he had to suffer I have fibromyalgia I understand pain

Dang Andres mom lost her son and husband at once.Its hard to believe I'm older than Andre the giant was when he died. He looked much older and was a huge part of my childhood. I'm 48 now. .which doesn't seem right. I was just in my 20s it seems. Anyway RIP sucks most my childhood heroes are dead. I would love to visit that place his ashes are scattered. Even macho mans dead. Glad hogans still kicking as much as people hate him and found out he wasn't at all like we thought. Andre liked him.
