Very Disappointed to see the core problem about Amaravati being ignored. Amaravati being a Greenfield capital which requires heavy investment and delayed fruits isn't the only problem here. Inaddition to it the basic model of alloting a share of developed land(which is the money of all the public )to few land owners instead of paying compensation is not only unethical but highly depriving economic equality

When Naidu was in power Amaravati was not even notified in the official Indian Gazette as Capital of AP. what a shame ! Naidu went to court to stop distribution of land to poor in the Amaravati area arguing that a demographic change will take place in case of distribution. Hard to digest such exhibition of casteist pride! YUCK! There were allegations of insider trading as Naidu changed the plan of the capital region to suit his kith and kin. Let me clarify one thing, Amarawati ring road is not even in the proposal, not constructed. How can you say that Some are benefitted. One more thing pool land any where in Andraparadesh, some caste may have major land. Do you mean to say that land must be acquired based on caste. It’s such absurd discussion and not presented properly. Land pooling is a revolutionary concept. We should always welcome public participation in any development project. It’s our duty appreciate the farmers and then government. One more thing capital for Andra Pradesh is Amaravathi. Central government many times clarified this question. Request you to talk to right people for right information.

33k acres land taken from farmers return to farmers 30% means 10k acres land back to farmers,30% land for roads and common utilities means 10k and remains 13 k acres land . Already sold @ 25 to 50 lakh per acres land for some institutions like SMR,VIT, Amrutha and so on around 5k acres , remain land bank with government 8 k acres land ..for 8 k acres land we need to invest 2-3 lakh cores . This is India not UsA that also this is under CBN AP , Vizag is best choice for capital as per state budget and freebies concern.

Ask a person in central what naidu is capable of, he was the front page news of national media channels in late 90's and early 2000's. He was always keen in development of state with his ideas ,vision. Then people said many bad things,when he proposed hitech city in the place where it filled with stones and now it became one of the IT hub in the world and in india. so at first some people might not convinced as here people need free money every month, and ycp took it as an advantage. but in real whatever Chandra babu Naidu proposed was correct - be it Amaravati or Hitech city. The problem with this video is that it doesn't cover the entire issue holistically and also ce nsors balanced comments. When the state of telangana and andhra separated a committee headed by a venerable ias officer from tamil nada mr sivaramakrishnan was set up to determine the ideal capital for Andhra Pradesh. It was called "expert committee on the new capital for andhra-pradesh". Pls read. The report clearly suggested that Andhra Pradesh shouldn't have a central capital as it would lead to disservice to the rest of the far off districts due to the distances involved. He highlighted how decentralisation was already in play in Andhra as it had many developed cities. Being a littoral state with a long coastline, decentralisation would benefit everyone. His suggestions were ignored by TDP. Instead they focussed on amravati which is at the core of a particular caste. Further it was situated in a fertile agricultural belt along a riverine floodwater zone. This only makes it more dangerous in the future. The incumbent party were aghast by such unabashed prioritisation and they wanted to disrupt this unjust decision. A state capital is not based in kin prioritisation. In the long run it clearly disadvantages the entire state. The incumbent party tried it's best to follow sivaramakrishnan committee report but alas populist disinformation prevails more and also prevents more detailed comments such as mine as they are contrary to the narrative.

Since my teenage years I remember the politicians after visiting Singapore they said that they would make our city with the same standard like Singapore.
