Eric Manuel Teamed With My Big Brother's Nemesis At Oklahoma City (Darren Terry), They Were 57-0 And Decimated Teams. My Brother Was An All-American At Blind Junior College And Wound Up At Phillips University In Enid Oklahoma (Tim Collier).
Jay Edwards was something serious at Indiana. The Big 10 was the best conference in the country when he won conference POY in 1989. Michigan & Illinois made the Final Four and Indiana actually won the Big 10. He beat out Glen Rice, Nick Anderson, Roy Marble, BJ Armstrong, Kenny Battle and Rumeal Robinson for Big 10 POY
@@taytay8283 Drafted by the Clippers. In those days the Clippers was the worst franchise in professional sports. Also Jay Edwards was one of those 6'4" guys that was really 6'2 ½". Too short for a 2 guard and he was not a point guard. He was a tweener. They didn't have that positionless basketball back then like they do today
This was during the Proposition (Prop) 48 Era. I played baseball in high school and ABSOLUTELY cared NOT 1 iota about goin to ANYBODY'S school. However, after not gettin drafted out of high school, college wasn't a plan until other plans didn't work. Realized the hard way when I had a potential scholarship (at least) pulled off the table And that LaBradford Smith occurrence took place in back-to-back games. Not sure if they were back-to-back nights. But if I recall correctly, LaBradford TORCHED MJ in Washington. And the very next game MJ took LaBradford to CLASS😬😳😁. I remember most of these dudes playin in college during this time. I graduated 8th grade in 1987😉
I miss the old days of watching these guys on ESPN college basketball and hearing Dick Vitale overhype a lot of these guys. This class didn't produce NBA HOFers but they were awesome in college.
That Ohio State team his senior year was something serious. Should've went to the Final Four. Lost to a team they beat twice in the regular season in overtime in the Elite 8
Hey there DUDE you need to get your info correct...Larry Johnson went to Skyline High School in Dallas not Tyler!!!!!! And he went to a JUCO his first two seasons. He did not get to UNLV till his Jr. year in College!!!!
