My Mann !!🤣🤣 🤣 That would be better than rehashing the Avengers all over again Galactus would be the center of the MCU from all phases,I can see phase 6 now
@@Dragonds53 It was in an issue of What If... I don't remember if it was volume one or two. May becomes his herald, and rather than finding planets for him, she uses the power cosmic to make giant cakes for him.
@@cardinalchris , it was issue 137 of Marvel Team Up (Franklin Richards and Aunt May) as a caveat, uhhhh, it was "Assistant Editor's Month." It wasn't a "What If"
Galactus to new heralds: “I’m just going to roll the dice and give you random powers, not necessarily improving on your predecessors.” Herald: “I thought you were going to imbue me with the power cosmic. Why is it so random?” Galactus: “Um, shut up!”
There are a couple of mistakes in this video. First, some of the scenes when talking about Terrax actually showed The Sphinx, a human-turned-god that the Fantastic Four recruited Galactus to fight. Second, you completely forgot the Fantastic Four/ Superman crossover where Superman himself briefly became a herald of Galactus.
Honestly that panel at 06:05 ALWAYS hits me in the feels. No matter when I see it or how often... it saddens me. For Frankie, but especially for Johnny who was chasing after her right before this panel. This issue made me put down comics for awhile because honestly this arc was sad for everyone: Frankie, Thor, Johnny, Terrax, and Reed with the consequence of his decision.
Judging by Thanos's statement, the Power Cosmic literally eats your soul and replaces it. Which is one of the most horrifying things I've ever heard. Norrin's immortal soul was eaten, and the thing Mephisto is after is a parasitic clone.
I remember back in my herald days i used to scope out a planet for Lord Galactus and still make home in time to watch animaniacs after school 🙃 #heraldlife
That is some haunting background music, the research is on point, but man I got the chills just listening to the track you have playing. Almost took a trip in space with all those heralds, thanx!!!
Yep, Superman/Fantastic Four. He was tricked into believing Galactus destroyed Krypton, went to the Marvel Universe, then was transformed into Kryptonian, Herald of Galactus right in front of the Fantastic Four.
Firelord Air walker Silver surfer Fallen one The Destroyer Terrax the tamer Nova (not Sam Wilson) Morg Red Shift Human Torch Stardust Asterof Ghost Rider

He tried to remove it from Rachael Summers so it wouldn't be a threat, but the stars began to disappear and death said Phoenix is part of the universe's balance or something like that.
100% Mesmerized funny, the Phoenix Force created Galactus imgur.com/ogssTUU Galactus isn't even more powerful than Green Phoenix which is the weakest host static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/5/56904/1640119-phoenix_jean_vs_galactus_08.jpg The Phoenix Force grants limited powers to It's hosts and u compare the Force of creation itself to Galactus. Jean Grey had mental problem when she fought Galactus, and btw, it is a what If story...
What? No love for Deadpool, Thor, or the greatest of them all, Golden Oldie (aka May Parker)? And what about Franklin Reed? ... Oh wait, he made Galactus his herald.
@@facelessbadman6587 Google "silver surfer #82" look in the lower left of that comic book. That's morg laying unconscious because he was knocked out by Tyrant and made a slave.
@@kcopara1 Google "Heralds of Galactus" i have the comic please.Every former herald ganged Morg & got bitch whooped.Surfer going cry to Galactus remove power cosmic from Morg. And then they were still struggling for the win,so Morg full power could definitely beat Thanos without stone's.Also THE Demolisher he killed original THOR & broke Surfers board😱😱that's RAW strength certainly a rival to even Hulk.
Missed two, that should at least have made the honorable mentions. From the "Assistant Editors Month" comics and "Superman Fantastic Four #1". The times Galactus turned Aunt May and Superman into his Herald.
I'd forgotten about Red Shift and Stardust! You did forget about a single-issue stint from "Deadpool Team-Up" where the Merc with a Mouth, hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, saw a classified ad from Galactus and took him up on the job offer. ...despite leading the Eater of Worlds to numerous worlds (and seemingly the Forest Moon of Endor given the Ewok-looking beings in one of the panels) before being fired due to his incessant gabbing. He even attends an Alcoholics Anonymous-type meeting on the final page full of everyone on this list, save Surfer and the not-yet-introduced Cosmic Ghost Rider. (Also, Aunt May was, hilariously, a herald in an alternate universe issue of "Marvel Team-Up" but that's obviously not canon. It's just something I felt was worth mentioning.)
We are forgetting something important here though. Hickman's run on the Fantastic Four. Galactus became a Herald of a certain someone. HEAVY SPOILERS DOWN BELOW. . .. ... Adult Franklin Richards and Adult Valeria Richards(son and daughter of Reed and Susan) time-travel alongside Reed's father to the present day. At that point in time Mad Celestials were fighting against Galactus and the Future Foundation. Galactus took one of the Celestials down BUT the remaining ones killed him shortly after that. Sooo, Adult Franklin borrows power from his pre-teen self, adds it to his own, resurrects Galactus, makes Galactus his Herald and they proceed to DESTROY the rest of the Celestials. A MUST read for everyone.
You forgot ROM. Rom became a herald for Galactus to save Galador (Rom's home world) and some Spaceknights on Galador. Rom double-crosses Galactus by offering him the Dark Nebula, home of Galador's dealiest shape-shifting enemies the Dire Wraiths (which turns out to be a dangerous offshoot of the Skrulls). Galactus tried to devour the Dark Nebula but he couldn't - it made him sick. As he prepared to devour Galador, Rom reminded him of their deal. The fact that Galactus couldn't devour Galactus did not change their deal. So Galador was spared but Rom and some of the Spaceknight Army were put in space away from Galador.
so... completed list? am i missing any?: Tyrant Fallen One Silver Surfer Air-Walker Firelord Destroyer Terrax the Tamer Rom the Spaceknight Nova Morg the Executioner Red Shift Human Torch Stardust Praeter Anti-Man Dazzler Doctor Strange Deadpool Superman Aunt May
One of my favorite comics was when Spidey beat Firelord one on one. No Captain Universe power or anything. Also the video leaves out one herald. Golden Oldie.
Wasn't Firelord in a weakened condition? And Spiderman in a black suit. Still Spidey best him the same way he beat Titania. Speed and power. At the time Marvel universe had his strength as being able to lift ten tons.
No comment on when Galactus became the Herald? (Of Franklin Richards of course.) Or when Aunt May took a turn? As always, thank you so very much for the video.
Some of the characters in this video that is the list of names have a toy version of themselves already made why some of them are yet to be made if you ask me I'd think as soon as they are done being made the team at the marvel comics company should do a re-release of galactus and his heralds in one really big boxset collection title galactus and his heralds boxset collection it would have not only galactus but also have everyone who was his heralds with numbers next each one of their names as a way to tell the person who buying it witch characters was his first herald all the way to whoever is his present herald is as this
I was never a big fan of the cosmic storys or characters but this video was good. It makes sense out of some stuff I never really understood. Thanks for the video.
How was firelord obscure? He was in every single cartoon series in the 90's. X men, spider man, fantastic four, even briefly in the hulk series. You should check it out.
Nobody remembers when Silver Surfer wore quantum bands & feeding Galactus, so he doesn't need to eat planets anymore, in the Guardians of the Galaxy 90s reboot
