Rest in Peace to Grayson Murray, and condolences to his family and friends that remain, and will need to cope through this challenging time. If you, or someone you know is struggling with the thought of taking their own life, please dial 988.
Good on you for putting addiction resources in the description 🙏 Condolences to his friends and family. Living with and losing an addict is not for the faint of heart. I'm hoping they can heal.
Really sad story. The more I learn about him, the more I get the feeling he had no business being a professional golfer. Doesn't appear as if he got any real fulfillment from it. I remember Todd Marinovich saying just because you're good at something doesn't mean you were meant to do it, and I get that feeling from Grayson. Just wish he could've actually pursued his real passions instead of sticking with something that he apparently just did because he was really good at it.
Interesting that Benny An, who was on the losing end of Grayson Murray's huge 40 foot putt in the Sony Open this year (Benny An shortly after that missed a 5 footer that would have kept the playoff going), had made a negative tweet about Grayson well before this (involving Grayson's and Kevin Na's beef), But Benny did offer a Rest in Peace tweet today. Interesting stuff.
A very selfish person who didn't care for the people who trying to help him ...the most selfish thing to do is off yourself. Sure mental health problems , .....
Not really true. People in that situation are in so much pain ending their life seems less painful then death. I just saw analogy it is like being in a burning building and either burning to death or jumping. Peace to him and his family.
No very selfish , he had support from PGA and his family ..plus $6 million in winnings , He just won last January and played really well at the pga open ...he has been head case from H.S. , 3 colleges kicked him out , he went after other pro player (Kevin Na) ...the tour let him run his mouth...they should have kicked him out of tour ...Doug.
@@alexjohn5086 You don't really understand mental health. People do irrational things all the time. He didn't want to deal with the issues anymore. People can only take so much. He wasn't being the type of selfish that you talk about. But every act is a selfish act in a way, but it wasn't like he was trying to hurt those close to him. He was just unlucky in life. People want to be at peace. He wasn't at peace. Bad luck when looking at the big picture. Not many people who have never been at peace with themselves and life end up being at peace. Happy people are happy, and miserable people are miserable. That is the way it is.
Great call. He is a bad hombre. Not trying to be political because I am neither left nor right, but he is very similar to Trump. Put Trump in the real world where there are consequences for actions, and he is way worse than Grayson Murray was. Rest in Peace, Grayson.
@@terrythomas790 You Trumpers are all the same. I was a fan of Trump decades ago. Don't really care one way or the other now because I am not into politics, but I know both sides today, the right and the left, are stone cold losers, so have fun ruining your mind for the rest of your life.
“Not trying to be political, but this non-political person reminds me of this politician that i hate and is the worst person ever. Not trying to be political though” You realize how dumb that sounded right?
