After leaving American Idol, Jason Castro quickly scored a No. 1 international hit. Then he disappeared from the charts and the pop music scene, leaving fans to wonder -- what happened?
Wow, Jason Castro is all grown up and living his life with so much purpose. Great story of inspiration. Many blessings to him and his beautiful family.
With the dreds gone he immediately reminded me of a young John Travolta with that luminous smile. Happy for him in finding his way in life and in serving others.
He's just so . . . so . . . pretty! But he doesn't even think about that. He's just humble and friendly. Nice to everybody. Seems like a really good guy.
Wow, I loved this. While I'm not religious myself, I have great respect for Jason, and can appreciate that "fame and money" isn't what's important in life. Best of luck to you and your family, and I will continue to be a fan. Love your voice and music....and especially those eyes!
I had the privilege to see Jason years ago. He had a concert at Golden Hills in Brentwood, CA, with Matthew West! They are both amazing young men of God! I pray that they both have continued success! Keep God first, and the music will keep flowing! ❤❤
After 14 years of American Idol, Jason Castro remains my #1 favorite Idol. He's such a good guy and filled with the Holy Spirit. God bless you and bring many more wonderful things!
@@elevationlyricss182 Come to Core church Los Angeles this Sunday June 23rd 2019..and see Jason Castro from American Idol!!! He 's still singing .. For Jesus! Former American Idol singer songwriter Jason Castro will be with us at all 3 of our services this Sunday June 23rd! Invite someone and come join us for an awesome time of worship!
I fell inlove with him on Idols. Stopped watching Idols for ever when he was voted out. You have to SEE his face while he is singing, you cannot just listen. He is absolutely amazing. I'll be a fan forever, no matter what genre he sings.
Some really great people came from AI season seven! I loved Jason, David C, David A, Brooke, Carly, and Michael Johns. Nice to hear about Jason, thanks.
Right! I think it was the best, most diverse season. Such talented ppl that year. David C. is incredible. I loved Jason's tone. Its sad about Michael passing away tho. All and all that was my fav season
I love it Jason! The fact that you gave up "the glam life" for the ministry of Christ....you are just one more reason why I love to hear to Castro family sing. I remember you on Idol... but I know what you mean about having a longing for God in your life and feeling like you are far from him and where he wants us to be. So proud of you... your wife and daughter are beautiful!!! God Bless.
Beautiful boy, now a beautiful man. I listen to his CD's in my truck all the time. When he sang "Over the Rainbow' on Idol, I felt it 'zing' through my whole body and I was hooked as a fan. Loved the dreads, but love the new haircut too. My son had dreads at the time - that could have had something to do with it, lol. Good luck, Jason! You are an amazing man.
I was just sitting wondering what became of Jason, and OMGNESS, he’s a dad, husband, music ministry, marriage ministry, May God continue to bless every step! This blessed me so so much!!
Well from a religious standpoint, thats the best decision and if it makes him happy more power to him. I am not that religious although Christian, if I was a pop star I would have burning crosses behind me (Madonna).
I miss Jason Castro soo much and I'm happy for whatever makes him happy. I just want to believe that we can always serve God wherever we are. I wish that Jason will not stop sharing his talent to us. I believe that Jason is one of the instruments of God to give the people JOY. With the coolness of his voice, I find peace. With his youthful music, I find myself smiling. His facial expressions and reactions during his interviews makes me laugh and all the memories that lingers about Jason makes my heart's grow fonder and it's LOVE from GOD. His nature seems all so right. I wish Jason all the best and I hope that he would not leave us. With or without your dreadlocks, we love you Jason Castro. Please continue to make music so can continue to be happy.
He seems like a great person. He's doing a lot of good with his talent. I'm not really into Christian music, but he might be able to be up there in the Christian charts. I wish him the best of luck and hope he isn't forgotten. I just can't believe he cut off his dreads. Now he looks more like Justin Bieber than someone more edgy-looking.
I have been following Jason since I heard him sing Daydream. I was so happy to see him on the 700 Club and to read the related article. I wish him all the success he deserves in whatever makes him happy.
I think what Jason is doing is so awesome!! Spreading the WORD of Christ.......being an example of what to be and not doing the things of this world! Peace be with you and may GOD be a blessing to you and your family :-)
Good choice... with everything I hear about "Hollyweird" I don't blame him for not wanting any part of their craziness. I can't imagine him twerking - sticking his tongue out -- he was way too good for AI. Great to hear he is doing well. :)
he's nice looking i liked his hair :-) wow when he got rid of it he looks different . I wouldn't notice him walking across the street awesome voice i remember u from Idol . I voted for you :-)
I am not a pious man, yet l respect any mans (or woman's) devotion and commitment to his beliefs and dedication to his family and community. Right on brother.
