It's sad seeing this game go out like this after 3 years even if it wasn't the best fighting game it was still pretty fun getting to make your character and play with the awesome roster I hope this game could come back better than ever in the future and to not let the game die
I mostly had played the demo and felt the mechanic was just too simple with the button combos and I was practically winning my matches with Seiya alone. Overall it's fine I guess but my biggest problem was mainly the roster both the main and DLCs where 80% of the full roster was just One Piece, Naruto, and DragonBall and then every other series only had a minimum of 1 or 2 reps.
@Ryan15beast I never bought the game after the demo. I did however went to a small tournament and ended up winning 1st place against a bunch of scrubs. The overall mechanics just felt to easy and fast paced that you can win I'm a few minutes
Might be late but I agree this game might be very rare completely soon enough so I decided to get Jump Force off Amazon and it sucks that I didn't get the Ultimate Edition when it was still out years ago 😢 I really wanted the dlc characters, though mainly All Might, Shoto, Katsuki and Madara Uchiha
@@AlyxAugust Could've been better if they added: True Awakening animations, More Costume Colour Schemes, Ability Combinations, Janken Stance options for Yugi and Kaiba, Fluid combat, CAC Awakening Form, Photo Mode, Ability Objectives to unlock Costumes for the roster, Map Interactions, More CAC options More Characters.
Same it was a fun pretty descent game could've been better well I'm gulity to i play jump force sometimes I just wish I got all the dlc before it went away
@@deandremosley9190 Yeah the the game was good but there was a few things a that were really bad Like the lack of good customisation Different clothing,Hairs,Eyes,body type All that And also you can literally die from a person doing a combo For a whole round A guy did a combo on me once and i did absolutely no damage to him bc both rounds he did the same combos
I can bring up stuff like the visuals, the clunky mechanics, the bare-bones combat, the weird UI, etc, but honestly, it most likely just boiled down to content. A lot of people bring up how the game was good for booting up, trying all the characters once or twice, then putting the game down for months. For arena fighters, the trend for a "good" game is mountains of content over precise balance and character nuance. Of course the latter two are appreciated, but in the style of broad brushstrokes over intricate penmanship. Series like Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, J-Stars (and other non-Force Jump games), etc all have mountains of characters with customizable aspects that all play... mostly the same. But it's the fact that you can go through all those characters and have all kinds of different match-ups plus different team matches plus different modes plus different movesets once the character gets bland and on and on that makes those games decently replayable. Jump Force having a single row for its character select is indicator no. 1 of its amount of content.
I feel the biggest thing that bogged the game down was the combat. When I saw Jump Force I was predicting it to have Xenoverse style fighting with a bit of Ultimate Ninja Storm
I play the beta if this game once it went beta and I was amazed by it it’s just cuz I played all the Xbox one games that had shittier graphics seeing jump force and all the graphics even transformations made me love this game so much but servers are shutdown from how many issues and hatred they received and idk even when it’s coming up online again
they got so much money i could see it eventually happening but idk they dropped jump force so fast and so quick i could see them also never revisiting it
The game failed bc it was too easy and has too many defensive mechanics that are OP. What makes a fighting game good is how difficult combos are. You see the difference between pro players and newbies.
The story was pretty bad but the fighting was super fun The only complaint I have is that they didnt give the DLC's out for free when they shut down the stuff online or whatever Cuz I wanna play all might so badly
I think they legally can’t give out the DLC’s because they aren’t even up for purchase because of rights issues so it’s not really something they could’ve done.
Ok so yea story sucks but the devs spent all their money in the animations for vs battle that was their main thats why i still love the game yea interactions r a bit janky but their skills r top!
I mentioned the things i had a lot to say and or felt like they were direct issues with my experiences. I never had issues with servers to be honest. I didn’t feel like that was a point to mention especially if I didn’t experience it
@AlyxAugust Also wasn't a fan of thr stamina system. Having your guard broken meant all stamina lost, along with escaping as well. There weren't a lot of punishment options and too many safe special attacks. It was downbad
the online servers are off, the game can’t be bought digitally and all DLC has been taken down. no one said you couldn’t play it. just the online was shut down.
Alpharad and other content creator 💩 on the game for how characters looked and the story. but who tf plays a PvP game for the story? No I don't care if you do person reading, you don't count 🫵
I’m confused ppl were saying that they can’t get online but I have no issues with it. Did they revamp it or smthn? In the main lobby area there’s no one but I can get games with other ppl pretty easy
