He comes out looking like a different Scooby-Doo villain at every appearance. Lol, I'm a Laratt fan over Mask but definitely a fan of both. Larratt was like an Iron wall from 07 - 12. Took the Hammer twice so far. Both are unbelievable armwrestlers with explosive strength

in simple terms... his injuries, mental game, job and family have prohibited him from truly putting the time needed to be the monster he once was. not only that but the sport has grown a lot since 2018. Matt is an awesome dude for sure.

Matt has simply never had the time or opportunity to train all out. He clearly has elite potential, the levers, the hand. It's simply a question of whether he ever has the year of dedicated development needed to realise more of it.

He cares more about his hair than being a winner.

Matt has tonnes of potential to push further. Matt unlike many other armwrestlers out there at the top of the pro level has a busy real life work schedule. If he could do the rehab and dedicate the time to focus purely on armwrestling I have no doubt he'd be even more of a monster then he is now. I would also suggest he disregards the hair cut advice, and I encourage him to go for an absolute sick flow. Hockey hair Matt will crush.

Matt has the ability, his biggest problem is the mental game. If he's not fired up on all cylinders it's game over. He's unfortunately a one move guy and if he's not at peak, he doesn't have a defensive game to come back with or the necessary endurance to fight a long match.

he could have been losing the hair due to compuinds, compounds which he stopped using, hence the hair he has now stays, and he doesnt have the same level of agression due to less compounds. Its how it works.

When you get a hair transplant you also get on finasteride or dutasteride, both of which are drugs that lower your testosterone. If he was also using testosterone, he would have to had to stop using it when he got the transplant. However, even if he was completely clean, the hair loss drugs would lower his natural testosterone enough that it would affect his arm wrestling performance pretty significantly.

I know your joking regarding the hair transplant thing being why matt is losing but when you think about it. Actaully this literally may be the reason. Matt had to go on finasteride to keep his new hair. Finasteride wipes out your bodies DHT and DHT is directly correlated with Strength and mind to muscle connection. Many of the fast acting strenth Pancakes 🥞 are DHT derived. And because matt is wiping out his bodies DHT he is therefore weaker in all aspects and less coordinated with his strenth.

So I think the uploader on this channel was joking a bit about the hair transplant thing. However, I think this is actually correct but some context is needed. Allow me to explain--male pattern hair loss is mediated by androgens like testosterone & DHT. Basically gorging on pancakes (gear) significantly accelerates this process. It is likely Matt has seriously toned down his use of peds. This coupled with the fact that after a hair transplant the doctor's usually put the person on a combination of minoxidil and finasteride, a potent anti androgen used to block the synthesis of DHT which has a pretty profoundly understated role in strength. This is likely contributing to the decline of Matt's most recent performances.

Ok here goes the explanation for Matt's lost power; after the transplant Matt would have been put on finasteride, an infamous hair loss medication which lowers 5ar enzyme which in turn reduces DHT in the blood. DHT IS ONE HELL OF A HORMONE, doesn't do much for muscle gains but does a lot for aggressiveness and drive, and also explosive power.. why am I so sure? Well, I've used it.. and oh boy did I lose my "oomph", not only that but I also was shaking a lot during exercises, everything reverted back after some months stopping the medication.

Theory just got proven wrong after Ron losing to a Matt Mask that had more hair than he ever had for a long time. Unless hair plugs don't count because they are a result of surgery. In fact, he technically lost even more hair when he had to transplant hair to the front and top of his head. The transplant just took awhile for the body chemistry to adjust to the new hair orientation?

Brzenk always had hair and he is the goat. I don't see how the hair theory makes sense. Athletes lose hair because of high testosterone. But I don't think that translates into "get a hair transplant and now your testosterone will drop"
