Why is it not a picture of him out there? I almost believe he is dead:( His son talk like he is dead. The same with the wife before she changed her word after that. But anyway it's not my case. Every day hundreds of attempts to contact you via social media and threatening the family for information of his condition. Idk if anyone has threatened the Schumachers but if they gave them something they would go to great measures for more. Just because fans love Michael it doesn’t mean anyone owes anyone anything especially when their trusted friend betrayed them and sold a picture of him bedside. It’d be pretty hard to want to trust humanity again after that and after 10 years you’d think you would give up. No mention of Ralph? Also I think the description of Schumi's personality is dead wrong. As a racer he was an ice cold professional not sentimental, not compassionate. He cared only about winning and if he never dreamt of cheating or resorting to dirty tricks to win it was because he thought it was beneath him. Two incidents I recall. One was, in a post race recap on ITV in England, they put a graphic on screen showing the racing line of each car along the track. Every other driver's trace was a scribble of lines one over the other as the race progressed. Schumi had started the race from P1 and as he so often did, he ran in first all through the race. His trace showed that for 70 laps, his racing line never deviated by a centimetre. The screen just showed one line. That is how precise he was. The second incident I recall was where on the morning of race day Michael and Ralph received the devastating news that their mother was either severely ill or had passed away (I don't exactly recall). Ralph quit the race and went home. Michael did not leave. He won the race and then went home without celebrating or doing post race interviews. When you know things like this about him you know there isn't a rock on the planet that would have the nerve to take him out. He's still fighting and I for one am sure he will win.

He is basically who got me into Formula One. I was literally bought up watching him race. It’s terrible what has happened to him, and yes he absolutely does deserve privacy and respect respect But I’ve got to be honest Part of me wants to see what he looks like. I don’t think we will until after he has passed and they will make a documentary about him

@@EpanyoI think it's worse than that. I think he's been in a coma since day one of his accident. I think it's unfair for his family to keep gaslighting us like this, if the truth would come out, everybody would just shut up and stop asking. But the family keeps this mystery going and I'm starting to wonder if they're doing it for their own interests instead of Michael's.

This is exactly the issue we are given contradictory accounts, we are given the impression he can communicate in some form then the opposite when Mick says he can’t talk to him about his races. It’s sad. Had this not happened he’d still be around F1 in some form such a huge loss to all that love hi.

Leave him alone, remember him for the great things he achieved before the terrible accident and allow him and his family the privacy that they have asked for. They are not saying anything and neither is anyone else that knows about his life these days. Any video on him is pure speculation and therefore pointless.

It became quite clear about a year after the accident, from the dearth of information on his condition other than notes that Michael is "fighting," that he had suffered permanent brain damage. As commented here, I do hope to see him make an appearance in the paddock once more. But don't let's hold out breath.

I have been following F1 since 1980 and studied what went on before that quite a lot, and there's absolutely no doubt in my mind: Schumacher is hands down the best race car driver in the history of motor racing. Having witnessed his entire career, there has simply never been another driver who was so much better than anyone else. Ridiculously good is an understatement! When talking about F1 history, there's Schumacher and there's everybody else.

What is worst about brain damage is that it isn't immediate. Like a certain boxer, Michael was awake after the accident but slowly made less sense. I think that is the most frightening thing in the world. To feel as you are loosing what makes us ourselves. Just as the boxer cried out "don't leave me" to his family as he lost consciousness. And now it feels he is no longer the same person. Barely walks. Barely talks. Acts more like a child. It must be so horrible. To be aware enough to know how much of everything zou lost but never be able to gain it back.

Michael Schumacher gave us fans so many memories and he risked his life for us fans. As a fan, I am completely ok with his family asking for privacy. They deserve that. The family must enjoy every minute with him possible. Maybe one day ther can be a behind the scenes documentary about him. However, I will always understand if there is not. Will always cherish the awesome races he gave us. Hopefully Ralf has completely recovered from his accident at Indy. I saw that one in person. I was appalled they didn't Red flag that race to allow the medical team to take their time to get him off the track.

The first years the rumors were that they keeping it all a secret because he still has long term contracts with many companies, and so receiving huge amounts of money every year. If it was official that he is kept alive only by machines, the companies will try and probably manage to terminate that contracts. They can still do that now, but can you imagine the public downfall and PR disaster for any company that dares to do that now? "monster, cruel, greedy company hurts more the injured legend" this will be the front page everywhere. I tend to believe that rumors, it's Schumie, he's a legend, so we are talking about real real real money...
