i remember last year when i was on FLIGHTRADAR24 and saw MONARCH AIRLINES CEASED OPERATIONS i was so shocked and sad, a friken exactly a year later another one of my favorite airlines ceases operations :(

If it's now a Frontier F9 plane then I will ride on it at some point! Kind of cool yet sad for Monarch!

Yeah, I agree. It confused me that they sold some aircraft but kept others. Maybe they will come back smaller than they already were?

That Frontier aircraft was G-ZBAB which left the fleet in 2015. All of them are stored atm, though G-ZBAV is apparently going to Nordwind and G-ZBAH is going for Scrapping.

MikeySeedot I heard G-ZBAP is scrapped or is getting scrapped at St Athens?? As on a FB Page called monarch Airlines someone messaged the lessor at st Athens which they replied saying G-ZBAP isn’t confirmed yet and they said it might be dismantled as they don’t expect to see it fly again.

G-ZBAB went back to Lessor in 2015. Not in Monarch's fleet for two years.

Do they had any Boeing in their fleet? Those Boeings if any airliners will be the most desirable for sale.

I believe they were leasing a couple of 737-800s.

Poldus Eri they only had 1 at time of closure. The remaining 35 was Airbus fleet (10 A320s 25 A321)

The frontier at the start left Monarch in 2015. Also, G-ZBAP is scrapped.
