Your right! I was coming right off my first viewing of the episode when I recorded this and thought she was flying in egypt but that was Rogue. So Storm, Logan, and Morph could all be on their own timeline somewhere.
Actually, now that you mention this, this makes me think of something else. Remember in the 90s cartoon that Storm and Wolverine ended up in an alternate future briefly? Perhaps this has something to do with that?
Ok so... what if storm, morph, and logan are all in an alternate present that is currently being created by the impact of the team in the past... just a thought.
The only problem with this theory is the scene between Forge and Bishop. I mean, it’s possible that Forge just didn’t find them, but it’s more likely that he couldn’t find them because they are lost in time.
@@EricRuki Oh maybe Wolverine and Morph in one time line and Storm end up in present day Wakanda, and she prob ends up marrying Tchalla, Prince of Wakanda
I think Morph def has feelings for Wolverine, but i also feel like it's one-sided. If the show were to actually bring this up again, i think Morph will just keep their feelings to themselves to not ruin the friendship. Cause everybody knows that Logan is just NEVER gonna stop simping over Jean Grey. 🙄
Y’all ain’t tired of wolverine yet? He’s been the only star of the XMen for the last 30 years. I’m more than happy to shelf him so others can get some shine.
@@DastardlyDavid69 There is very much a point to be made here and I actually found Wolverine being more of a support character this season refreshing for that reason. That said.... I definitely feel he's one of the characters that could use a bit more screen time in season 2.
Spider-Man told Wolverine "something ain't right bout that shapeshifter-Morph". "Guy gives me the creeps!...my spider sense goes off evertime I see that dude!"
You know.... when I said that during recording I remember thinking in the back of my head 'i bet there were other Deaths between Angel and Gambit... but I'm sure if there are then someone in the comments will point it out' so thanks for doing just that! Anyone of note?
THANK YOU! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the vibes between Wolverine and Morph. I don't think they're always Jean when it goes down, tho. Did you see the scene where they turned into Sabertooth???
One theory that I’ve considered is that it was present day apocalypse that sent the x-men through time, the effect of asteroid M disappearing was very similar to when he made magneto disappear in x-men evolution. And that made me think about the 4 horsemen we had in that show (Magneto, prof x, storm, and mystique) obviously gambit will be one of the four and wolverine became one to get his adamntium skeleton back, then for the other two storm was one in x-men evo and morph has a very similar power set to mystique so could take her place. leading us to get an incredibly emotional fight where our x-men must save their brainwashed friends.
I was also asking this? aside from that, what is the timeline of this in parallel with the Spider-Man Animated Series, since we saw MJ with peter parker, but at the end of the spider-man series, MJ was still missing, and no one knows what dimension she went thru.
Head Cannon time! My guess is like 5 seconds after the SMAS finale Madam Webb was like, 'oh there she is' and Pete and MJ were back home before breakfast. That quick and easy explanation aside, it does kinda have us all begging for a Spider-Man 97 of sorts to explain it right?
Desperate for an X-men vs Avengers! The scene with Rouge and Captain America had me so on edge, and I know it's a long shot but we did get Spiderman and Nightcrawler in the same show at last
Should X-Men '97 save the Avengers VS. X-Men story arc for its third(3rd) season since the second(2nd) one will focus on time travel? Both on Young Cable & the origins of Apocalypse?
Maybe. It's hard to say though. So many stories were fairly successfully crammed into single episodes that I could see them wrapping up the timetravel/apocalpse arch within the first 2 of Season 2.
Honestly i could be here all day with writers on the show and comics wanting to be open about queer characters aswell as fox marvel and disney being themselves, and how most comic book characters are or have been a little queer I could be here all day with baiting , washing , coding , ignorance , phobia , this that and the other surrounding a series about why forcing people who are different to disappear is a crummy thing to do but Just looking at Logan and kevin on there own in 92 Morph was caught up to by wolverine and there lines were literally: Logan:Your coming back with me one way or another Kevin: You want me back? for what ? To go bowling ? Shoot some hoops ? * Morphs into Jean* Or maybe its love you're missing ? Because when I'm with you all i can think about is how in love i am ....with cyclops *pushes logan over and cackles" I feel like that seen already implied that the two went there with Kevin shifting into jean HOWEVER I do feel like Beau retconned (if retconning something that exist and yet doesn't is possible) . I feel like the 2 are being set up for a slow burn about the 2 being honest with themselves and then each other . Beau confirm that Morph turned into Madeline to make himself more comfortable saying he loves logan allowed. He's ashamed . Theres more discussion to have about unrequited love being warn out in queer media but i dont feel we are going there fully because Logan does love kevin he just never seems to relize how much until he thinks he'll loose him and then its back to chasing jean . Still toxic but all they need is emotional honsesty to fix it . I thinks its just to early to tell . I personally love some aspect of the ship and think it can work the problem is that the ball is now in Ricky rats corner 😒
I’m going to be straight. Deadpool 3. And here’s why, when Beau DeMayo was asked “Where’s Deadpool?” He responded that Deadpool was off limits. There is a very strong indication that Hugh Jackman is very playing the Wolverine of ‘97. Morph is still a mystery on that part, but I strongly believe that’s why Wolverine wasn’t in the end of the finale.
I do realize after I typed that there is a snag in my theory. In Deadpool 3, Wolverine has adamantium claws… but I still believe we’ll see Wolverine and morph in the movie.
Thank you! There is a theory that this show is actually how they’ll introduce the X-men into the MCU. There is evidence of this too. SPOILERS BELOW There is a post credit scene after The Marvels where Beast is treating Photon/Monica Rambeau. The way they showed Beast in this end credit scene is the same way he’s portrayed in the cartoon.
I’ve been saying the same thing I believe that we’re going to get the avengers versus the X-Men and that’s probably gonna be a whole season of alone, but I can’t wait for the chaos and drama for that season because it’s going to be amazing
@@TVTalkFM I believe you’re right, but during season two, it will be them trying to get back home, but also exploring the origins about apocalypse and cable. But when they do get back home. They have to adjust the aftermath since they left. But when things can’t get any worse, we get introduced to the fight that we’ve all been waiting for.
If I am remembering right we saw Jubilee and Sunspot in the present when everything up in the sky went boom. As for Storm and the others: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R31gMM5_w_E.html
The original Morph, played by Ron Rubin, was a close friend of Logan's and nothing more. He was also secure in his masculinity and had a male default form. The show never got into his love life because it did not really fit the character, who was going through a mental breakdown, at the time. He was messed up mentally and emotionally, being manipulated by Mr. Sinister. The new version, played by JP Karliak, is like a different character. He's androgynous and might have feelings for Logan. He feels like a self-insert character for Beau Demayo. I do not believe Logan likes Morph at all. Disney should not even go there.
Its weird considering that Morph has been thirsty for a man that has shown no interest or indication throughout the series in a sexual relationship other than being pals.
Given how much Morph went through in the original series I can buy the idea that in the past 9 months before the start of 97 they decided to reinvent themself. That said.... I miss Morph's signature laugh. I feel like carrying that over would have helped bridge the 2 versions of the character more. I think we as fans can get a little too into the 'spot the self-insert character' game but if one was to play said game I would actually assume that Rogue would be his SIC given the prominence she had in the series and the relationship with Magneto. Magneto seems to be for Beau D what women's feet are from Tarantino. But that's just my 2 cents.
It is highly disappointing that they are force feeding the agenda with making morph this way but now your insinuating that Wolverine will be taking part in this 🤦🏿♂️ it’s sad to see them do that to beloved characters and not show respect to the originals 😢
Ok he tried to save his best friend in the team 99 percent of ppl back when things were normal took that as somebody looking out for there buddy....now it's deconstructed into some perverse kind of romantic love and sexual desire
I wouldn't mind logan and morph to end up together, they always had a lot of chemistry in the old cartoon in my opinion. But if at the end is a one sided love I would like to see how they deal with it. After all what would the X-Men be without a little bit of romantic drama right?🤣
Logan is getting over Jean in this series. Logan turned her down when she tried to kiss him and told her she belonged with Scott. He still likes her but, that’s promising. He has a very strong bond with Morph. Morph was the only person who could make him laugh. I didn’t think much of it as a kid but, that’s quite beautiful now. That’s honestly why most women marry the men they do. He made me laugh. 🥹
Idk but when I saw morph turn to grey and said I love you I thought he was trying be like Deadpool just be funny…he is technically the comedic member and just think it’s a broship match lol Wolverine never really had friends and he joins the X-men and morph was like the whole funny type Deadpool pool chameleon mix bt he got traumatized through the old series we never got the old funny morph till now
@TVTalkFM Jean wants Scott she does know what she wants which is why she married him and why she reached out to him mentally she thought Cable was going to kill her just to say she loves Scott
Morph & Wolverine are good friends & Morph's just a sassy bitch now, that's it. Nothing morph, nothing less, so everyone effing relax about it. Just bc Morph has become the X-Men 97's token Non-Binary character, doesn't mean Logan is going to suddenly come out, lol. Especially when there are PLENTY of other characters that could...Bobby Drake, anyone? He's already on Forge's 'new team' wall, and considering all the shiz we got from the comics we never thought we'd see in just 10 eps, wouldn't it make more sense for them to bring in a legitimately LGBTQ+ character instead of Tim Drake-ing one?
I'm trying to think back but I recall an episode where Bobby was in a picture at the mansion but I don't recall him showing up on the show in full yet.... maybe in a flashback.
I just assumed they stayed with Forge. But then again….they would’ve been shown if they were. ….brun what happened to my boy and Morph??? What happened to my goddess Storm?? Oh and it’s been confirmed that Moroh has feelings for Logan. As far as I know though Logan doesn’t feel the same. If they bring it back in S2, I would actually like to see that get explored a little bit more. Not so much where Logan suddenly likes men. More like it’ll be nice to see a friendship between them so strong that Logan will gently let Morph down but will stay his friend. Not to mention Logan still loves Jean. Those feelings never disappeared. Morph literally had to turn into Jean just to even confess to Logan. When I heard the name Apocalypse….i immediately thought of when Gambit was the horsemen of death.
FYI if you read the comics you know Morph Dives in front of a Sentinel beam to save Wolverine so yes they are setting up for Morphs death Some folks have no idea how easy it is to find info on a tv Series based off a famous comic line TV talk more like Drool and talk
@@TVTalkFM morph Def gunna get hurt and it will be saving Logan its too obvious instead mfers wanna click bait for LGBT nonsense ,its gunna be dramatic , id rather see morph Die a hero or get hurt tragically that than a gay wolverine would make me turn off the tv so fast , had no issues with Morph being genderless, but to make wolverine gay might as well have Mag and Malcom ass blast each other with their powers lmao plenty of other great gay Xmen , northstar showed up he is gay and cool as hell, Colossus too
I'm not feeling the morph having a secret crush on wolverine at all thank u disney for ruining my child hood with your woke bs I'm tired of it just give us normal stuff for once 🤦🏾♂️
