Nick Young AKA Swaggy P was one of the most polarizing players in the NBA during the 2010's. He made threes and silly soundbites for the Wizards, Clippers, Sixers, Lakers, Warriors and Nuggets over 12 seasons in the league. He's most famous for his public breakup with Iggy Azalea after D'Angelo Russell secretly filmed him in a hotel room but there is a complicated and tragic backstory. This video explains why Nick Young is not in the league anymore and what happened to Swaggy P.

Comedy, but no success either. The issue here is to get the right type of personell on the roster, when a player like Caruso is motivating for spectators and teammates (=gives energy), Young is demotivating and stole energy with his laidback style.

Nick liked to have fun! He deserved having fun, tough upbringing but found a way to live well enough to make it to the NBA and make a name for himself within the league. He always had a smile so he enjoyed his career to the fullest.

I think Nick Young would have been a different player if he was drafted by the Spurs, had Tim, Tony, Manu under their wing or was with LeBron in Cleveland or Miami. The people he surrounded himself with played a factor to his demise but ultimately he has himself to blame for him not being in the league. Allonso Trier is going through this at this point as well and wasn’t even draft.
